Research On Culture And Tourism Integration Of Foreign Public Libraries

Public library is an important part of socialist public cultural service system.In 2018,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the plan for deepening the reform of party and state institutions,which proposed to vigorously support the integration of the cultural industry and the tourism industry.The integration of cultural and tourism services will play an important role in promoting the prosperity of China's cultural and tourism industries and demonstrating cultural confidence.This study focuses on foreign public libraries from the perspective of the integration of cultural and travel services,and analyzes the experience and existing problems of the integration of cultural and travel services in foreign public libraries,so as to effectively promote the development of the integration of culture and tourism of public libraries in China.In this study,nine public libraries are selected from the foreign tourist hotspots,specifically the Ademont Monastery Library in Austria,Calgary Public Library in Canada,Library of Congress in the United States,Boston Public Library,New York Public Library,London Public library,Stuttgart Library in Germany,the New Alexandria Library in Egypt and the British Library in the United Kingdom.From the perspectives of cultural resources integration,service content integration,construction planning integration,social resources integration,service personnel integration and service management integration,this paper summarizes the main experiences of Foreign Public Library's cultural tourism integration services: building the characteristics of collection resources,improving comprehensive content management,building a composite talent team,and top-level design sustainability development.The main problems are the lack of brand effect,the service object lacks division and the lack of concrete management system.This paper studies the integration service of culture and tourism of foreign public libraries,which has certain reference significance for the practice of public libraries in China.It analyzes the experience and existing problems of the integration service of culture and tourism of foreign public libraries.Combined with the current situation of the integration service of culture and tourism of public libraries in China,based on the theory of industrial cluster,the theory of new public service,and the theory of tourist destination life cycle,this paper draws the conclusion that five inspirations of the China's public library to carry out the integration service of culture and tourism are as follows: the first is the integration of library resources;the second is the integration of library and social forces;the third is the integration of library and entertainment and leisure;the fourth is the integration of library architectural features;the fifth is the follow-up of library management system.
