The integration of culture and technology was the motivity of digital public industry, especially the transition of tradition publishing. Under the thriving demand and the political needs, publications in China have to explore the new work-flow, business models and industry chain in digital public industry. And the government policy system must be adjustment too.Chapter1researched on the history rule and philosophy basement of the integration of culture and technology, exploring the influence of this integration on the transition of tradition publishing. How the integration of culture and technology happens? What is the motivity between the integration and publishing industry?Chapter2described the history and the chance of transition of tradition publishing in China. Evidence proved that the economic performance of tradition publications’digital public business was not optimistic all the times.Chapter3analysis the reason why it is so hard for the transition. From the industry organization, marketing system, business model and intelligence supplement, we can find the answer probably.Chapter4introduced the experience from USA, Canada and Taiwan. Such as digital platform construction, customer oriented marketing solutions, diversified cooperation and merger strategy, the system of copyright protection, cultural diversity of the international trade, government funding and tax regulation, industry-university research alliance, etc.Chapter5wish to propose methods to deal with the issue discussed in chapter3, for publications and the government too. And reforge the work-flow, innovate business model and reconstruct the industry chain may help the publishing industry make the transition.
