In the context of the era of scientific and technological innovation,the frontier of science and technology has become the focus of attention of the country and enterprises.Facing the trend of continuous changes in the frontier of science and technology,China should timely discover the potential frontier of science and technology in the field and carry out strategic deployment in order to cope with the increasingly complex global environment of science and technology.At present,the research results of frontier identification are mostly hot and emerging scientific frontiers,and there are few researches on the potential scientific frontiers.In this small amount of research on the potential frontier of science,the research objects are mainly scientific papers,ignoring other technical texts and the role of correlation between science and technical texts in frontier recognition.In this context,it is very meaningful to build a model based on multi-source data and identify the potential scientific frontier from the perspective of the association between scientific papers and patented technologies.The main research contents are embodied in the following aspects:Firstly,the basic theory of the potential frontier recognition model is analyzed.In this paper,basic theories and key methods of the model are summarized and analyzed,and the basic theoretical system supporting the model is extracted,which lays a theoretical foundation for the follow-up;Secondly,a potential scientific frontier identification model is proposed.Based on the basic theoretical research,the knowledge carrier of science and technology was clarified,a frontier recognition model based on patent and paper association was proposed,and the operation principle,hierarchical structure and model practice steps of the model were explained in detail;Finally,the model of potential frontier science recognition is studied empirically.Taking the field of biological pesticides as an empirical object,the model was implemented step by step,and the results of model identification were verified.Through the above research,the following results are obtained: the model proposed in this study can identify the potential scientific frontier in the field of biological pesticides to a certain extent,effectively reveal the future development direction of this field,and provide support for relevant institutions and researchers in frontier identification research.
