The historical relics are the testimony of history for the social progress while being gems of wisdom for human society in each and every stage of social development.Cultural and museum-based TV programs are based on history,which are the key component for culture-typed TV programs and also are the important carrier for manifesting the history and civilization.However,a majority of cultural and museum-based programs nowadays are still lingering in the column stage of fixed mode,resulting in old-fashioned program form,insufficient interaction,inadequately used sources of new media,limited program connotations and deficiencies in new media technologies,etc.Since 2017,Chinese TV screen springs up a batch of unique cultural and museum-based programs,such as National Treasures,if the National Treasure can speak,etc.Their emergence makes the originally silent cultural and museum-based circle become popular.Plenty of questions are worth considering after these programs attract the attention from the public:In the constantly changing media convergence,how the traditional culture and brand can develop a school of their own and explore an innovative method that is closely to the era and the self-positioning with commonly used effect.This paper takes the program of National Treasure as the research case and explores the development status and questions of Chinese cultural and museum-based TV programs.Meanwhile,it also applies TV narratology theory to probe into the innovative strategies of cultural and museum-based TV programs by virtue of questionnaire survey,text analysis,etc.This paper is mainly divided into five chapters:the first chapter is introduction,which streamlines the domestic and overseas research status of museum-based TV programs in the era of media convergence.And it also expounds the relevant theories on the research involved;the second chapter historically streamlines the progress of cultural and museum-based TV programs and concludes all development stages for the cultural and museum-based TV programs with the development history of Chinese TV programs as the background.And it also generalizes the program characteristics for each stage while pointing out widespread questions of cultural and museum-based TV programs in the era of media convergence.Finally,it makes a brief introduction to the program of national treasures;the third chapter mainly makes text analysis on the program contents of cultural and museum-based TV programs by TV narratology theory;the fourth chapter mainly discusses the audience demands for Chinese cultural and museum-based TV programs by questionnaire survey and their recognized situation for the program of National Treasures;the fifth chapter mainly bases on the research of solid evidence and text analysis for the purpose of proposing solutions and advice for the innovation of cultural and museum-based TV programs.As for the research conclusions,this paper proposes the optimized suggestions from four aspects such as,program form,contents,programming and program transmissions for museum-based TV programs.Among them,In terms of the program form,museum-based TV programs should lay more emphasis on the integration of various program formats;for the program contents,they should screen out and choose cultural relics,making the contents more fit for the program theme;as far as the programming is concerned,this kind of program pays more attention to the agreement of details and history reality along with the use of new technologies and the post-production personnels should be possessed of decent sense of music;in the aspect of music transmission,the interaction should be strengthened.They can use currently popular short videos to publicize the programs.It's worth mentioning that the celebrity effect can be used to strengthen the effect of publicity.Besides,the development of program derivatives is also a program marketing strategy that is worth trying.
