Older age groups as the most intense contact with the media, TV media should be strong at all levels have the responsibility and obligation for the older audience to run a variety of old TV shows. However, at present China's TV media at all levels, both quantitatively and qualitatively far from satisfying the needs and aspirations of older audiences, and even some local TV stations did not run old TV shows. Needs and aspirations of one side is a huge one side is the lack of quantity and quality of the program low, this contradiction should arouse people's concern television media.Economic development has caused tremendous changes in society, while present, China's aging population is the main viewing TV media groups, this group has its own lifestyle, attitudes and media consumption habits of these factors directly affect their viewing preferences, and study these customary right to seize the audience group of the elderly is essential. In this paper,A large number of reading literature on the basis, through the analysis of existing national old television content and form, the author analyzes the general old-age old-age television programs and narrow the difference between television programs, old TV shows made entirely based and non-full-type a new interpretation of old TV shows, and combed the domestic course of development of old television shows and the current outstanding programs, that my old age groups, and social development and cultural effects on the relationship between the elderly the cause of the positive role of people, combining sociology, communication studies, journalism, psychology and other disciplines, analysis of the current old TV shows affect our political, social, cultural, economic and other factors, by analyzing the founder of the successful experience of columns and channels made through comprehensive upgrading the living conditions of older television programs to further promote the building of a harmonious socialist society.
