With the acceleration of China's urbanization process and increasingly fierce competition among cities,improving competitiveness is an important task for urban development.In modern society,urban competitiveness is not limited to the hard power of urban infrastructure,transportation construction,industrial scale,etc.,but extends to the soft power represented by urban culture,urban spirit,city image,and urban taste.The image of the city as an important part of urban competitiveness is becoming more and more important.In recent years,the image of the city has always been a hot topic in academic research.Image research is inseparable from the specific social reality context.“The Belt and Road Initiative” is an important measure for China's opening up in the new era.It not only provides an opportunity for the economic and social development of domestic cities,but also brings severe practical challenges.As an important node city of “the Belt and Road”,Zhengzhou has seized major development opportunities and has risen rapidly.The influence of the city has expanded significantly,but Zhengzhou also has many problems in its development.Deeply integrated into the “the Belt and Road” construction,Zhengzhou must enhance the city's competitiveness and do a good job of spreading the image of the city.From this point of view,Zhengzhou city image communication research has important practical significance.This paper studies the image of Zhengzhou city under the background of “the Belt and Road” from the perspective of news communication,and hopes to do some meager strength for the good development of Zhengzhou.The full text is divided into six parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes research background,significance,method,innovation and literature review.The second part discusses the image of Zhengzhou city under the background of “the Belt and Road”,including “the Belt and Road” to Zhengzhou,the influence of Zhengzhou city image elements,the transformation of Zhengzhou city image,etc.The third part is based on the theory of “pseudo-environment”,studying the image of Zhengzhou city from the perspective of traditional media in newspapers,radio and television.Mediapresentation.Using the content analysis method,the selected samples of People's Daily,Henan Daily and Zhengzhou Daily were comprehensively interpreted from the perspectives of the number of reports,the genre of reports,the content of the reports,the nature of the content of the reports,and the source of the reports.It also analyzes the status quo of the dissemination of Zhengzhou city image by radio and television.The fourth part analyzes the dissemination of Zhengzhou city image by new media under the background of “the Belt and Road”,and starts from the two aspects of government new media and short video platform,summing up new media.On the basis of the previous studies,the fifth part summarizes the four specific problems in the image of Zhengzhou city image under the background of “the Belt and Road”;the sixth part mainly adopts Lasswell “5W” communication model.The model combines theory with practice to provide Zhengzhou city image communication strategy under the background of “One Belt,One Road” for reference by city image managers.
