With the development of social economy,advancement of computer technology,and advancement of network technology,mobile Ad Hoc network has become a hot topic in the field of wireless communications.It does not depend on fixed infrastructure and does not include central control nodes.Therefore,It has the characteristics of convenience and resistance to destruction,which also makes it widely used in all kinds of more urgent events or military fields.As the mobile Ad Hoc network has a certain self-organization,dynamic topology and wireless access characteristics,this This makes the traditional routing protocol unable to work normally in this facility,which also makes the research of mobile Ad Hoc network has become an important topic and research hotspot.This paper studies the mobile Ad Hoc network and routing protocols.The main tasks are as follows:Firstly,the paper outlines the research background and significance of Ad Hoc network,including its network architecture,technical characteristics and other aspects,and its background,development history,definitions and characteristics,and then for its comprehensive description and introduction of the architecture.It mainly describes the node structure,network structure,protocol stack and cross-layer design of Ad Hoc network.Then,the article introduced common Ad Hoc network routing protocols according to the geographical location-assisted routing protocol,hierarchical routing protocol,active routing protocol,on-demand routing protocol classification methods,and carried out the content,characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of different protocols.After detailed analysis and comparison,the simulation of DSDV,DSR,and AODV routing protocols was performed based on NS2 simulation software.The simulation results were compared from the three aspects of successful packet reception rate,route average delay,and routing overhead.Network latency,packet iterative forwarding,network reliability,routing update complexity,network overhead,routing efficiency,network stability,etc.Finally,this paper selects the AODV routing protocol as a further research object.The HELLO message mechanism increases the overhead of routing protocol management and control.It proposes an improved idea of introducing a MAC layer data frame instead of the HELLO message mechanism.To some extent,the MAC layer data frame is The HELLO message mechanism can achieve the same effect.For network connectivity,MAC layer data frames do not need to transmit extra data packets and are more efficient.According to the idea,the HELLO message mechanism is proposed to improve the AODV routing protocol-HMMAODV routing protocol,and the AODV and HMA AODV routing protocols are simulated respectively.From the simulation results,the HMMAODV routing protocol can effectively reduce the network control overhead and save network bandwidth resources.For the transmission of data packets,the probability of successful reception is greatly improved,and the network data conflict and waiting queue play a good As a result,the average delay of the network is also effectively reduced,ultimately making the routing more efficient and the network more reliable.
