In recent years,with the rapid development of computer science,a series of technologies,such as the Internet of things,cloud computing,large data,artificial intelligence,are also advancing rapidly,and a new wave has been set up in the field of research and application.Especially the application and development of AI have a great influence on the social life of human beings.Artificial intelligence has greatly changed the way of human life,enriched the content of human social life,and brought great convenience to the life and work of human beings.At the same time,the continuous development and extensive application of artificial intelligence technology makes the relationship between human and artificial intelligence increasingly close,which leads to a series of realistic legal problems and the thinking and worry about the future legal system.From the perspective of the future development of artificial intelligence to the legal system,the future strong artificial intelligence will form a big explosion of social intelligence,its intelligence level will be infinitely close to even far beyond the human,the speed of the emergence of new things in society is accelerating,and the present system of written law will not be satisfied.Society is dying out for the needs of law.Therefore,human beings need to take measures in advance to cope with the possible legal system crisis.In order to deal with the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence may bring to the law,it is necessary to consider artificial intelligence in the context of law,which requires the discussion of the legal status of artificial intelligence.This paper is mainly based on the example of obtaining citizenship by robot Sophia,to lead to the core issue of artificial intelligence and what legal status is.By explaining the basic general situation of artificial intelligence and comparing the different views about the legal status of artificial intelligence,starting with the different types of artificial intelligence,this paper makes a more in-depth analysis of the legal status of artificial intelligence,and puts forward that the weak artificial intelligence belongs to the object and the strong artificial intelligence has become the main body.The point of view,the reasons are given,and the protection and standard measures for artificial intelligence in China are put forward to create conditions for the good development of artificial intelligence in our country.
