Research And Implementation Of Custom Report Tool Based On Web

With the deepening application of enterprise information technology and various Web-based management information systems(MIS),in order to expand the breadth and depth of data utilization,a great deal of demands of data analysis and processing service are put forward at any time.At the same time,in MIS,in order to display new data analysis and processing results,new reports needed to be added at any time.Traditional reports are hard to adapt to new requirements due to the fixed data items and interfaces in the system development.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a report customization tool with the change of user requirements for information management system.In this paper,firstly,we analyze the current development and status of reporting tools at home and abroad,the main methods of reporting tools and the researchdirection of reporting tools.Then,combined with engineering application examples,the functional requirements and performance requirements of Web-based custom reports are analyzed.On the basis ofthe custom reports' requirements analysis,the key technologies of report semantic management and report design tools of Web-based custom report tools are analyzed and studied,and,the overall framework of custom reporting tools and the design of each functional module of the system are also completed.Finally,based on QUI(Quick User Interface)integrated development interface,mxGraph drawing tool and XML semantic management technology,we develop a set of customized report tools supporting users to realize report customization in simple and intuitive way on browser.The tool can meet data organization,statistical analysis and report file export and other functions in common information system and can be integrated with the existing information application system as a functional component,which realizes the custom report format and report data source without modifying the application program,and improves the flexibility,reusability and scalability of the report system.Meanwhile,through the establishment of the report customization wizard,it reduces the difficulty of reporting customization,and improves the user experience.
