Research On Body Symbol Of CCTV Evening Party Of The Spring Festival Host(1983-2017)

CCTV Evening Party of the Spring Festival,which began in the 1980s,is a special cultural event.Spring Festival gala host is the soul of the show,they organize and coordinate all the parts of the Spring Festival gala on content.As is known to all,every Spring Festival gala live smoothly,the host has played a large role.From the beginning to the end of the gala,the costume,body and language of the host have been the focus of huge ratings.Every time the host appeared on stage,they were a display of the "window" landscape.In view of the unique status of the gala,the body display of the host is not only a physical or aesthetic body,but also a dominant or implicit cultural and political body.This study focuses on the body symbols of the host of the gala from 1983 to 2017,including clothing,body and language.Through the transmutation of the body symbol of the host in 35 years,the periodical change of the Spring Festival gala is proved.The evolution of the gala are closely related to the macro background of Chinese social politics,economy and culture,which has transformed from a popular entertainment party to a grand national artistic endorsement and eventually become the market and capital visual feast in the current era of consumption.The paper will be written in three stages,with the characteristic features of the 35th annual Spring Festival gala in 1983-2017.The first stage mainly discusses the Spring Festival gala of 1983-1989.Analyze the body symbol of the host,we know that the Spring Festival gala is an ordinary TV program that focuses on traditional festivals.It was originally positioned as a family gathering.Paper through discussing the details such as the "part-time" identity of host acting actor,neutral conservative clothing,personal action and humorous language,the author holds that the attribute of the service of the people is related to the national literary policy,national education,economy and other grand background.1990-2003 was the second stage of the gala.The country's top leader made his first appearance at the gala in 1990.After the node,the gala has been upgraded from ordinary festival to "national" year-end performance.After the author analyzes the following elements,such as the identity of the host,clothing,action and language,who comes to the conclusion.Professional announcers are chosen to build national image and to make national voices.The third stage is the beginning of the 2004 Spring Festival gala.With the development of China's market economy and the further improvement of urbanization,a lot of advertisements which be produced by mass media and consumer society flocked to the gala stage.Because the characteristics of popular culture is the vision first,so many hosts from television program are selected.Brand clothes,star effect,middle class cultural taste,and the lines of capital support are fully displayed in the body of the host,forming a visual feast which blend the mass culture and capital.
