| With the rapid development of communication technologies,new media technologies not only affect people's daily life,but also drive the news production industry to change dramatically.Faced with the increasingly complex media environment,traditional media,represented by paper media,is facing unprecedented challenges,and is suffering from decline in distribution and advertising,and low rates of return as well.The emergence of new media,however,does not mean the disappearance of traditional media,which has formed its own means of dissemination rules,characteristics and objects,and has established strong credibility,affinity and authority among audiences in the past 100 years,which cannot be reached by new media within a short time.If journalism can be compared to a crown,in-depth reporting is undoubtedly the brightest gem in the crown.Digging into the "truth" behind the facts,"solving the doubts" and "releasing the confusion" for the audiences,and safeguarding the public's rights to know,the status of in-depth reporting is still difficult to replace in China in the period of severe transformation.After 2014,"media convergence" began to become a major strategic deployment of our country,and the mainstream media have embarked on the road of "media convergence".In this context,it is worth researching and reflecting on how to realize the development and transformation of in-depth reporting by taking this opportunity,and how to break through the dilemma under the challenges brought by new media.This paper concentrates on the development of in-depth reporting in China under the new media environment status.By utilizing methods of literature analysis and case analysis,this paper analyzes a number of successful transformation cases of The Paper and the New York times in the condition of "media convergence",and summarizes its successful experience,and discovers the transformation of thinking depth reports in the future development.based on the situation of China. |
