From Full-time,Panoramic To Omniscient

Since the new millennium,the development of in-depth reporting has been faltering.Especially after 2010,with the prosperity of new media,the popularity of light reading and fragmented reading further reduces the space of in-depth reporting.As the dominant way and comparative advantage of traditional media,in-depth reporting,how to get out of the predicament has always been a topic for the news media to ponder.With the technical advantages of new media,it is an important way to improve the in-depth reporting in order to meet the needs of the society and the audience in the new situation.This is also a successful precedent in the history of journalism.The typical representative is the influence of "Wall Street Journal style" on "Wall Street Journal".Therefore,the media has carried out the practice of full-time and panoramic in-depth reporting from the form and means of reporting.They improve people's cognition of in-depth reports either by enriching and extending the content or by experiencing the magical feelings.However,the above practice of comprehensive media can always feel their pursuit of the theme of in-depth reporting: through the surface facts,grasp the facts behind the facts,or deviate,or not satisfactory.So some media try to add video factors to the text reports,such as the Washington Post and USA Today abroad,and the Xinhua news agency,Beijing News and China Youth Daily in China.This process of exploration starts with simple "transplantation" and conscious addition,and then goes to the organic and integrated production of text and video.Efforts should be made to combine the rational profundity of words with the intuitive and vivid images,and to integrate the audience's perceptual cognition and rational thinking,which is what the author calls "omniscientization" in this paper,as the dominant pursuit.In this way,text report as the main body can effectively achieve the purpose of in-depth report;Image thinking reduces the difficulty of abstract thinking,which not only conforms to the trend of light reading,but also meets the audience's love for video in the new media environment,and then plays a role in guiding the audience to return in-depth reports.Therefore,this paper focuses on the omniscient exploration of in-depth reporting based on the analysis,summary and reflection of the full-time and panoramic practice in the context of integration.Through the interpretation of the concept of reporting,combined with the analysis of cases,the induction of current reporting forms,the difficulties in reality,the thinking of pain points,and the judgment of development prospects,this paper makes a more comprehensive discussion on the omniscientization of in-depth reporting.Hope to arouse the attention of the industry,boost the exploration of media,and provide some methods and ideas for its healthy development.The main part of this paper can be divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction and the first chapter.It mainly discusses the development of in-depth reporting from two aspects of literature and practical development,and leads to the focus of this paper:the way of in-depth reporting.The second part is the second chapter,which combs the concept of full-time and panoramic in-depth reporting proposed by scholars,and makes in-depth observation and Reflection on the new forms of network special reports and VR reports developed in the news practice.The third part is from the third chapter to the fifth chapter.Firstly,it re examines the concept of "omniscientization" proposed by scholars from the aspects of concept connotation,thinking interaction,subject relationship and so on.It takes the form of text + video as the dominant combination of "omniscientization" in-depth report.Secondly,it makes an in-depth analysis of the current exploration of "omniscientization" in-depth report,And reflect on the problems and deficiencies in the development.Through the research,it is found that,with the help of new media technology,"full-time,panoramic,omniscient" has a new form of expression,but full-time reporting itself is weak,and mostly stays in the simple pile of facts,which is difficult to become the direction of innovation and development of in-depth reporting;The technology of panoramic reporting is not yet mature,so it is difficult to integrate with in-depth reporting.Omniscient reporting mode is more in line with the essence of in-depth reporting.The media can take it as one of the innovative development directions of in-depth reporting.At present,"omniscient" in-depth reporting is still in the exploratory stage,and words still occupy the dominant position.There are two modes of physical combination of words and video: juxtaposition and embedded,and two modes of integration and separation of words and video in narrative logic;The practice of omniscient in-depth media reporting can be divided into three categories: transplantation,conscious addition and integration of text and video“ The practice of "omniscient" in-depth report can be divided into two kinds of business forms: the "omniscient" at the editing level and the "omniscient" at the gathering and writing level.In the news practice,there are still many problems to be solved,which need to be further explored by the media.
