Human resource is the most important resource.As our society,economy and tec hnology develops,so does the study on human resources.Researchers believe that the development of human resources can be described as:from labor management in the past,to human resource management(HRM)at present,to strategic human resources planning in future.The publishing industry,as the carrier of human culture,bears the front of the dig ital tide and challenges its existing system to a new path.And every publisher is thinki ng about the same question:how to digitalize the publishing industry through manage ment innovation.Most of the recent researches on digital publishing focus on its way of development,profit mode,industrial chain improvement,copyright protection and t alent exploration.However,few studies have been made on human resources,the key to digital publishing which guarantees the successful operation of digital publishers.T herefore the author,who works in a publishing house,aims at exploring human resour ces management during the digitalization process by focusing its impact on business fl ow,operational structure,profiting mode,as well as org chart,employee training and performance evaluation.Based on new features of human resources management,the author studies ways to solve existing problems and enhance performance.The paper includes five parts and is supported by human resources management and digital publishing theories and is combined with trends and facts of the publishing industry.It analyzes the changes,especially the features and trends of HRM during th e digitalization of the publishing industry,and concludes a way to improve HRM in su ch background.Finally,by analyzing the human resources management data of Phoen ix Media,it summaries six strategies to optimize human resources management durin g publishing digitalization:first,establish human resource planning in compliance wit h digital publishing needs;second,use digital technology to improve the effect and eff iciency of human resource management;third,beef up skill and talent training;fourth,establish a performance evaluation system in compliance with digital publishing feat ures;fifth,explore multiple ways of rewarding;and finally,build a good corporate cul ture and a employee-friendly environment.
