Study Of Chongqing Folklore Narrative In Chongqing Novels During The Anti-Japanese War

During the Anti-Japanese War,many writers lived in Chongqing.Based on their life experience in Chongqing,they wrote a novel based on Chongqing during the War of Resistance Against Japan.There are about ten such novels,including Ba Jin's "Cold Night",Zhang Henshui's "Eighty-One Dreams","The World at Night",Lu Ling's "Children of the Rich",Duanmu Hongliang's "New Capital Trivia",etc.Important works in literary history.During the Anti-Japanese War,Chongqing became a center integrating politics,economy,and culture.Talking about Chongqing Anti-Japanese Literature cannot be separated from the Anti-Japanese War and Chongqing culture.This essay uses Chongqing as a research object to create novels in Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War period after the writer exiled in Chongqing.From the perspective of folklore narrative,this article studies the construction of the connotation and historical meaning of folklore in the text.This article is divided into four parts.The first part mainly introduces research purpose and significance,the research status,related disciplines and historical background of Chongqing Anti-Japanese Literature.The second part analyzes the material folk customs in Chongqing novels during the period of confrontation.Through the rich folk customs such as clothing,food,shelter and transportation,it shows the polarized characteristics of the people's life.The third part discusses the social folk customs in the novel,focusing on the analysis of Chongqing social appearance and historical changes in the works under the blood,geographical,industry and social system.The fourth part analyzes the spiritual folklore in the novel,and explores the spiritual world presented by the novel through entertainment folklore,artistic folklore,and ideas.Folklore narration in the novel is of great significance to constructing the profound cultural connotation of the novel and increasing the historical weight of the novel.Folklore narrative builds the whole of urban culture through concrete and enriching folklore matters from material folklore,social folklore to spiritual folklore,allowing readers to truly perceive the unique features of Chongqing city during the Anti-Japanese War.During the War of Resistance Against Japan,Chongqing was not only in a predicament of invasion,but also faced with a weakness of inherent culture.Under the war,there were turbulence and uneasiness,and many eccentric phenomena and charismatic characters appeared in the society.As a way of life observation,folklore narrative shows the changes of the society's subtle stubs and reproduces the historical and cultural scenes of special times It has a huge effect.
