This thesis selects the texts of the novels in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties as the research objects,and sorts out the descriptions of diseases that appear in them.Based on the complicated and turbulent political background of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,the economic background of rapid development of business and the cultural background of prosperity,the profound implications behind the description of diseases are explored.The writing of disease in the novel not only has its own cultural implication,but also the literary role in the text.The introduction mainly expounds the theoretical practical significance and basis of the topic selection,summarizes the research dynamics and academic achievements of this topic at home and abroad,and defines certain specific words.The first chapter,"The Presentation of Disease Writing in the Novels of the Ming Dynasty and the Early Qing Dynasty",mainly explains several important diseases presented in the texts of the novels in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.In the first section,a simple contrast between the disease descriptions in the novels in the Ming Dynasty and the novels in the Ming and Qing Dynasties is found.It is found that thedisease narratives in the novels in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties are more mature.Skillful and culturally rich.The second section explores several representative diseases in this novel,such as "infertility","indulgence","ghost possession","lovesickness" and "nightmare".The second chapter,"Disease Critique of Disease Writing and Confucianism" begins with the Confucianism culture contained in disease writing.Firstly,it discusses the thinking about the relationship between "Tianli" and "Human desire" in Cheng Zhu Li Xue.Secondly,the discussion of the disease writing in the text analyzes the role of Yangming Xinxue in the relationship between "heart" and "practice".Whether it is "integration of knowledge and action",disease has become an evaluation standard;Finally,the discussion of disease writing is reflected in the human relations and moral principles of Confucianism's "five ethics" and "eight virtues".The third chapter,"Disease writing and the karma retribution of Buddhism",from the perspective of the Buddhist culture contained in the disease writing,firstly discusses the Buddhist "edge of life" concept embodied in the disease writing;secondly,it focuses on the "karma retribution" of Buddhism.How thought is reflected in the writing of disease.The fourth chapter,"The role of disease writing in the novels of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties",discusses the role of disease writing in literary texts from three aspects.Firstly,it discusses the writing of disease in the text,which subtly promotes the development of the storyline.Secondly,it discusses the writing of disease as a means of expression,which strongly reflects the character of the character.Finally,it discusses the expression of disease and reveals the profound subjective thinking of the article.
