| Objective: The biomechanical characteristics of children’s flexible flat foot will be explored by three-dimensional motion analysis technology, and the effectiveness of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine rehabilitation on children’s flexible flat foot will be verified. Methods: 1.Reviewing the three-dimensional motion analysis data of 56 children with flexible flat feet collected by the Gait and Motion Analysis Center of Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2016 to 2019,they were divided into 4-5 years old,6-7 years old and 8-12 years old groups according to their ages.Comparing with the data of normal children database collected by the gait center, the biomechanical characteistics of children’s flexible flat foot were analyzed by two independent sample t-test and nonpaprametric test.2.21 subjects were recruited and randomly assigned to kinesio-tap group and massage manipulation group. Before treatment,three-dimensional motion analysis test was performed in both groups. The kinesio-tap group was tested again after the first kinesio-tap treatment. The massage manipulation group would be massaged for 15 minutes after the first kinesio-tap treatment before test again. The data before and after treatment were compared and analyzed between groups and within groups. Results: 1.Comparing with the normal children at the same age,the children with flexible flat feet have the following biomechanical characteristics: the maximum varus angle of ankle joint during the middle and terminal support phase is significantly reduced(P<0.05),the plantar flexion angle of ankle during inicial contact is significantly increased(P<0.05),the maximum dorsiflexion angle of ankle during support phase is significantly reduced(P<0.05);the ground reaction force in loading-reaction phase(P<0.05)and the time of toe-off the ground(P<0.05)decreased significantly. The plantar pressure parameters showed that the peak value of medial heel pressure was significantly higher than that of lateral heel pressure(P<0.05).2.The evaluation results of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine rehabilitation were as follows: the arch index of foot in two groups decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.05);the difference of peak pressure between medial and lateral heels of left foot in the kinesio-tap group decreased significantly(P<0.05),and the difference of peak pressure between medial and lateral heels of both feet in massage manipulation group decreased significantly(P<0.05);the kinematics and kinetics parameters of two groups showed an improvement trend in different degrees, and the maximum varus angle of ankle joint during the middle and terminal support phase in the children with flexible flat feet in massage manipulation group had a significant improvement trend(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Comparing with normal children, the biomechanical characteristics of pediatric flexible flat foot were obviously abnormal.2.Three-dimensional motion analysis technology could provide objective basis for the evaluation and treatment of flexible flat foot.3.The rehabilitation intervention of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine can effectively improve the biomechanical characteristics of children with flexible flat foot. |
