Objective:To explore the factors affecting the compliance of patients with hypertension with acupuncture from the subjective point of view,so as to provide reference for the optimization and promotion of acupuncture technology.Methods:In this study,semi-structured interviews were conducted with patients who had participated in the clinical trial of acupuncture for blood pressure lowering and received acupuncture treatment in the first affiliated hospital of tianjin university of traditional Chinese medicine by qualitative research.In this study,the subjects were selected according to the principle of targeted sampling,and the interviewees were recruited by the sampling strategies of standard sampling,intensity sampling,convenient sampling and dynamic sampling.The interviewees were selected from the completed group and the detached group in the previous clinical trials of acupuncture and blood pressure lowering,respectively.The sample size was determined by the principle of information saturation.The interview was conducted at the first affiliated acupuncture clinic of tianjin university of traditional Chinese medicine.The interview was limited to 20-30 minutes,and the whole interview was recorded.During the interview,the researcher can flexibly change the questions around the outline so that the interviewees can freely express their views without deviating from the interview topic.The interview outline consists of two open questions.The first part is the interview of the subjects who have insisted on completing all acupuncture treatment,to discuss the factors that may affect the patients' compliance with acupuncture to reduce hypertension.The second part is the interview of the exfoliated subjects,focusing on the reasons why they failed to complete the clinical trial of acupuncture.At the end of each interview,the recording files were transcribed and analyzed immediately.NVivo12 software was used to sort out the auxiliary data.The interview data were analyzed by means of thematic analysis.Results:A total of 20 subjects were included,including 9 males and 11 females,aged between 32 and 68 years.The shortest course of the patients was 1 year,and the oldest was 35 years.After sorting out and analyzing the interview contents,the following four topics were proposed: patient factors,acupuncture physician factors,acupuncture therapy factors,and cost factors.Through qualitative interview research,it is concluded that patients' previous acupuncture efficacy and understanding of the principle,efficacy and safety of acupuncture are the primary factors affecting patients' compliance with acupuncture hypotension.The experience and efficacy of acupuncture,the expected effect on acupuncture efficacy,acupuncture benefit,acupuncture cost,doctor-patient relationship and personal preference are the factors that urge patients to adhere to acupuncture treatment.At the same time,some interviewees indicated that there were some obstacles in the process of acupuncture lowering blood pressure,such as inconvenient time arrangement,long journey to see a doctor,and high cost.For most of the respondents,the special location of renying point and adverse reactions of acupuncture did not have a significant effect on their compliance.Conclusion:This study through qualitative interviews found that acupuncture step-down EH patients compliance factors include: the influence of individual be fond of of acupuncture sufferings,recommend patients,free time,distance,acupuncture Qi Gan right antihypertensive benefit and safety production,acupuncture,appropriate acupuncture step-down health economics cost,harmonious doctor-patient relationship.The influencing factors that hinder the compliance of EH patients with acupuncture include: unsatisfactory curative effect of acupuncture for hypotension in the past,influence of other diseases on acupuncture treatment in elderly patients,insufficient understanding of acupuncture therapy,long-term cost of acupuncture,inconvenience of visiting time and distance.In future clinical application and dissemination should be paid attention to: to strengthen the publicity of acupuncture step-down,to promote the further community therapy,on the premise of not affect curative effect for patients to reduce the economic burden of treatment,improve physicians acupuncture technology,strengthen the doctor-patient communication,in order to improve the patients acupuncture buck adherence,further promote acupuncture clinical popularization of the technology of antihypertension.
