Objective:This study to investigate the expression of YAP1 and SRPX2 in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and the relationship between microvessel density(MVD)and prognosis. Methods:Western blot were performed to assess 20 cases YAP1 and SRPX2 expressions in NSCLC tissues and their adjacent tissues.Immunohistochemistry were performed to assess 80 cases YAP1,SRPX2 and MVD expressions in NSCLC tissues and their adjacent tissues. To analyze relationships between expressions and clinicopathological features.Kaplan-Meier survival curve was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of YAP1 and SRPX2 and the prognosis of NSCLC patients. Results Western Blot suggested that the expression levels of YAP1 and SRPX2 in NSCLC tissues were higher than that in the corresponding paracancerous tissue.Immunohistochemistry suggested that YAP1 and SRPX2 were highly expressed in NSCLC tissues, and the positive expression rates were 62.5%(50/80)and 55%(44/80)respectively.The expressions of YAP1 and SRPX2 were not related to gender, age, smoking, pathological type and degree of differentiation in patients with NSCLC(P> 0.05)and were closely related to TNM stage and lymph node metastasis(P <0.05);MVD expression was not related to age,Smoking and pathological type were not related(P> 0.05)and was closely related to the TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and differentiation(P < 0.05).The expression level of YAP1 protein was significantly and positively correlated with that of SRPX2 protein(r =0.545,P < 0.05).The expression level of YAP1 and SRPX2 was positively correlated with that of MVD.Survival analysis showed that the survival time of YAP1 and SRPX2 positive expression group was significantly lower than that in negative expression group:..Conclusion: The expression of YAP1 andSRPX2 was significantly correlated in NSCLC.YAP1 and SRPX2 are closely related to the invasion, metastasis, prognosis and angiogenesis of NSCLC,which provide a new prognostic indicator and therapeutic targets in patients with NSCLC. |
