Relationship Between Quality Of Life And Social Support,Stress,Anxiety And Depression In Migraine Patients | | Posted on:2021-03-29 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y Feng | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2404330632956821 | Subject:Neurology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:To study the relationship between quality of life and social support,stress,sleep,anxiety and depression in migraine patients.Methods:150 migraine patients and 150 cases of healthy controls were collected from the Second People’s Hospital in Hefei in December 2016-December 2019.General situation questionnaire Chinese perceived stress scale,migraine specific quality of life questionnaire(MSQ V2.1 version),Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale(PSQI),social support scale(SSRS)and Hamilton anxiety rating scale(HAMA and HAMD)were used to assess patients.The scores of each scale were counted and analyzed.Results:(1)The migraine group with aura scored higher than the group without aura in four aspects:role limitation dimension,role obstruction dimension,emotional function dimension and total score.(2)The migraine group had lower subjective support(P<0.05).About the utilization of support,the migraine group scored higher than the control group(P>0.05).(3)The perceived stress scale,anxiety self-rating scale,depression self-rating scale and Pittsburgh Sleep quality Index were all higher in the migraine group than in the control group(P>0.05).(4)Onset age,sex,and presence or absence of warning are not related to quality of life(P>0.05).Education level was positively correlated with role restriction dimension and emotional function dimension in migraine quality of life,but not with role restriction dimension and total score.Marital status was not correlated with emotional functioning dimensions in quality of life(P>0.05).The course of disease was positively correlated with the role obstruction dimension in migraine quality of life(P<0.05),but not with the role restriction dimension,emotional function dimension and total score(P>0.05).Attack frequency was positively correlated with role restriction,role hindrance,emotional function and total score in migraine quality of life(P<0.05).Stress was negatively correlated with role limiting dimension,role obstructing dimension and total score in migraine quality of life(P<0.05),but not with affective functioning dimension(P>0.05).Anxiety was positively correlated with role limiting dimension,role hindering dimension and total stress score in migraine quality of life(P<0.05),but not with affective functioning dimension(P>0.05).Depression was negatively correlated with role limiting dimension,role obstructing dimension,emotional functioning dimension and total score(P<0.05).Anxiety was positively correlated with role limiting dimension,role hindering dimension and total stress score in migraine quality of life(P<0.05),but not with affective functioning dimension(P>0.05).There was a negative correlation between sleep and role restriction dimensions(P<0.05),but not between role obstruction dimension.affective functioning dimension and total score(P>0.05).Objective support and subjective support are positively correlated with dimension of role restriction,dimension of role obstruction and total score(P<0.05),but not with dimension of emotional function(P>0.05).The total score of support is positively correlated with the dimension of role limitation,dimension of role obstruction,dimension of emotional function and total score(P<0.05).(5)Stress and social support affect the quality of life of patients with migraine(P<0.05).Conclusion:Stress,anxiety and depression are common in migraine patients,and they have low social support and poor quality of life.Therefore,timely intervention should be carried out for patients with stress,anxiety and depression. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | migraine, quality of life, stress, social support | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
