Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety of CO2 fractional laser and CO2 fractional laser combined with triamcinolone acetonide(TAC)in the treatment of children’s hypertrophic scars, evaluating the adjuvant efficacy of TAC.Methods:A retrospective clinical study was performed. From April 2018 to August 2019,A total of 349 patients with 508 hypertrophic scars from all parts of the body under18 years old who were newly diagnosed as hypertrophic scar in Laser outpatient department of the Department of Plastic Surgery,Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital were collected. The patients were divided into Test group(CO2 fractional laser combined with TAC,106 cases)and Control group(CO2 fractional laser,243cases).The patients were treated once and followed up for 2 to 3 months.VSS(score of Vancouver scar scale)was used to evaluate the improvement of hypertrophic scars. The adverse reactions was recorded, and the satisfactions of children’s parents were compared. The data were tested byχ2 and t test.Results:1.VSS score:The post-treatment scores of Test group and Control group decreased, and the scars were improved, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Post-treatment,there was no significant difference in the therapeutic effect between groups.According to anatomical location and possibility of hypertrophic, the two groups were further divided into easy occur hypertrophic areas and rare occur hypertrophic areas. In the rare occur hypertrophic areas, the curative effect of the Test group was better than that of the Control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).2.In the Test group and the Control group, the children’s parents had high satisfaction and the incidence of adverse reactions were low in two groups, with statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.CO2 fractional laser is effective in the treatment of hypertrophic scar in children.2.TAC has no obvious promoting effect on CO2 fractional laser in the treatment of children’s hypertrophic scar.3.In the areas where hypertrophic scars are not easy to occur,TAC increases the efficacy of CO2 fractional laser. |
