Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of preoperative acupoint embedding and moxibustion on gastrointestinal dysfunction in patients after laparoscopic surgery. Methods:A total of 64 patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery from September 2018 to December 2019 in our hospital were collected and randomly divided into the control group(group A),the preoperative group(group B),and the postoperative group(Group C).Twenty-two patients in group A received conventional postoperative and moxibustion treatment.Twenty patients in group B underwent acupoint embedding before surgery and received all the same treatments as those in group A.Twenty-two patients in group C were treated with acupoint embedding after surgery line. The time of the first postoperative exhaust and defecation of the three groups were compared, and the time to return to a full liquid diet was compared. The levels of abdominal pain and nausea and vomiting wereevaluated 1-3 days after surgery.Results:(1)Compared with group A,the first time to exhaust, the first bowel movement, and the time to resume full-liquid diet were shortened in groups B and C,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The abdominal pain score was lower after 1-3 days after surgery, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The nausea and vomiting score was low after 1-3 days, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)Compared with group C,the time of first exhaust and defecation was earlier in group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The abdominal pain score was low after 1-3 days after surgery, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The time to recover the full liquid diet was shorter, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The nausea and vomiting score were low 1-3 days after surgery, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3)No adverse reactions in any group of patients. Conclusions:Preoperative acupoint thread embedding combined with moxibustion can effectively shorten the time of the first postoperative exhaustion, defecation, and recovery of the full liquid diet after laparoscopic surgery, relieve postoperative abdominal pain, improve postoperativegastrointestinal symptoms, and promote postoperative gastrointestinal Functional recovery.
