Clinical Application Of 3D Printing Technique In Total Knee Arthroplasty

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of 3D printing-assisted total knee arthroplasty(TKA)in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods Fifty patients with 50 knees who underwent total knee arthroplasty(TKA)from February 2016 to December 2018 in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People’s Hospital were selected.They were randomly divided into two groups: three-dimensional technique group(using 3D print osteotomy guide plate for total knee arthroplasty)and conventional technique group(traditional technique for total knee arthroplasty).Record the general condition,operation time,intraoperative and postoperative bleeding volume,length of hospital stay,preoperative and postoperative VAS scores,preoperative and postoperative KSS pain,and functional scores of each patient.Results: The operation time of the 3D technique group was(61.6±11.5)min,and the traditional group was(80.1±11.4)min;The 1D postoperative bleeding volume in the 3D technique group was(225±129.7)ml,and the traditional group(392.2±144.9)ml;The number of days of hospitalization in the 3D technical group was(10.9±3.8)days,and the traditional group(15.5±7.3)days;The 1D postoperative VAS score in the 3D technology group was(4.0±0.7)and the traditional group(4.6±0.5);One month of postoperative KSS pain score in the 3D technical group was(86.1±4.7),and the traditional group(78.4±4.6);One month of postoperative KSS functional score in the 3D technology group was(83.4 ±6.4),and the traditional group(76.2±4.6).The comparison between the above two is significantly different(P <0.05).Concultion: TKA assisted by 3D printing technology can be tailored according to individual differences,so that the affected limbs can have better anatomical alignment and knee joint function,so that patients recover faster,reduce hospitalization time,bleeding volume,pain level,and prolong The service life of the joint prosthesis has achieved satisfactory clinical results.
