Research On The Status Quo And Service Demands Of The Elderly At Home In Datong City

Objective:With the intensification of the population aging,China began to gradually promote the development of home care services.Datong City,as the third batch of home care service pilots,followed the pace of the country to increase the development of home care services.This article provides theoretical support for the development of home care services for the elderly in Datong by understanding the current status of home care services for the elderly and the needs for home care services in Datong.Methods:Check the relevant literature and policies through the school library collections,various academic websites,portals,etc.to understand the current status of home care services research,and use the questionnaire in the community elderly in Datong City to conduct a sample survey to understand the status and needs of home care for the elderly.Enter the questionnaire data into Excel2019 software to make a statistical description of the basic situation of the elderly,the status of elderly care services,and the needs of home elderly care services.After that,the data was imported into SPSS20.0 software,and the single-factor chi-square test analysis and multi-factor cumulative logistic regression analysis were conducted on the influencing factors of the elderly home care service demand.Results:(1)Basic situation: There are a total of 428 elderly people in this survey,mainly based on gender,age,household registration,ethnicity,education,marital status,living status,number of children,occupation type,monthly household income,number of chronic diseases,health status,medical expenses Conduct an investigation.Among them,the elderly aged 60-70 are the most,accounting for 63.32% of the total number of people surveyed;the elderly with a family monthly income of 3001-5000 yuan are also more than other elderly,accounting for 37.85%.The number of elderly people with chronic diseases is at least 3,and there are only 23 people;those who think they are in good health and general are 166,accounting for 77.58% of the total;the annual medical cost is 4,000 yuan More,accounting for 73.83% of the total number of people surveyed.(2)Home-based pension status: The survey is conducted from five aspects: medical service,use of assistive devices,care and nursing,community envi ronment,and spiritual culture.In terms of medical services,the medical instit utions that most elderly people often go to when they are sick are community health service centers,which are within two kilometers away from home;the most commonly used assistive devices for the elderly are reading glasses,sphygmomanometers and dentures;Only 1/3 of the elderly are cared for,and the main caregivers are mainly children and spouses.Half of the elderly in the survey also indicated that they will choose to receive care at home if they need care.Regarding the community environment,most elderly people are not satisfied with their house.In comparison,most elderly people are more satisfied with the community environment and also participate in community public welfare activities.In terms of spiritual culture,most of the elderly have enjoyed the privileges they deserve and also have their own entertainment activities.(3)Demand and influencing factors of home care services: There are 125 elderly people who know about home care for the elderly,accounting for 29.20% of the total,most of the elderly are learned through community publicity;there are 303 elderly people who need home care services,accounting for 70.75 of the total survey %,The highest demand is home visits and home visits;when asked about their willingness to buy,218 seniors expressed their willingness to purchase home care services,accounting for 50.93% of the total number of surveys,of which 50% of the seniors are willing to pay monthly average Pay 1000 to 2000 yuan to get home care services.In the analysis of influencing factors,the five factors of marital status,living status,monthly household income per capita,medical expenses / year,and whether care is needed finally enter the regression model.Conclusion:Generally speaking,the elderly in Datong City are more inclined to receive care at home,and they also choose to go to a community health service center closer to their home for medical treatment.Most elderly people are satisfied with the community environment and rich in spiritual cultu re,but there are still problems such as unattended care and inconvenient living environment for most elderly people.Old people in Datong City do not have a high level of knowledge about home care,only less than 30% of the elderly have some knowledge abo ut them.A larger proportion of the elderly are in a state of being heard but not very familiar,but after understanding There is a high demand for home care services,and the most demanded services are home visits and house visits.Marital status,living status,monthly household income per capita,medical expenses / year,and the need for care have a significant impact on the needs of elderly home care services.
