A Study On Long-term Care Needs And Influencing Factors Of Disabled Elderly In Taiyuan City

In recent years,the total number of senior citizens in Shanxi has been increasing,and the proportion in the total population has also been rising.According to the 2018 Shanxi statistical bulletin,Taiyuan has about 599,800 people over the age of 60,accounting for about 13.71 percent of the total population.There were 451,346 people aged over 65,accounting for about 10.32% of the total resident population.By the end of 2018,the aging degree of Taiyuan has ranked first in the province.The number of elderly people with advanced age and disability is increasing.The huge demand for disabled elderly care calls for the establishment of a sound long-term care system.As one of the important modes of long-term care for the disabled elderly,institutional pension has gradually drawn wide attention from all social strata.Demand theory,the welfare pluralism theory are combined with field questionnaire and interview to old man fail of statistics,the Taiyuan disability elderly long-term care needs to carry on the quantitative analysis,and has made the empirical analysis of influencing factors,and found that the current Taiyuan disability elderly long-term care is also facing a lack of infrastructure,single care service quality is not high,such problems as lack of professionalism.The causes of these problems are various,mainly from the system is not comprehensive,the lack of laws and regulations and nursing personnel training mechanism is not perfect.At the end of the article,based on the existing problems and causes of long-term care for disabled elderly in Taiyuan,the researchers put forward their own Suggestions from the aspects of optimizing government functions,increasing the number of nursing institutions,strengthening the team training of nursing staff,and establishing effective evaluation mechanism.With the sudden onset of the "silver crisis",the long-term care needs of disabled elderly are increasingly urgent.Through questionnaires and surveys,this paper explores the long-term care needs and influencing factors of disabled elderly people under the institutional pension model in Taiyuan,aiming to analyze the problems in long-term care service,and then break through the blockage of long-term care development,so as to help explore a new way for the long-term care system of disabled elderly people in Taiyuan.Due to the limitation of the research scope and the randomness of the questionnaire survey,there may be many deficiencies in this paper, but I hope to make my contribution to the long-term care of disabled elderly in Taiyuan through my own investigation and research.It is hoped that in the future,the long-term care system of disabled elderly in Taiyuan will be improved continuously and the service will be improved continuously,so that many elderly people will live a peaceful and happy old age.
