Effect Of Liuzijue On Pulmonary Function In Patients With Hemiplegia Due To Ischemic Stroke

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Liuzijue on lung function,activities of daily living and quality of life of hemiplegic patients with ischemic stroke,with a view to providing a simple,safe and effective method of rehabilitation nursing for the prevention of hypofunction of hemiplegic patients with ischemic stroke.MethodsA randomized controlled study was used to randomly divide 76 patients with hemiplegia due to ischemic stroke from Jinjiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated to Fujian University of Chinese Medicine and Quanzhou Second Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University into the control group and the experimental group.The control group was given routine treatment care and early limb rehabilitation training.The test group was given Liuzijue training on the basis of the control group,30min/time,1time/d,5d/week,for 12weeks.The two groups were evaluated before and after the intervention.Evaluation contents:?1?Pulmonary function:A portable spirometer was used to evaluate forced vital capacity?FVC?,forced expiratory volume in 1 second?FEV_l?,peak expiratory flow?PEF?,maximal voluntary ventilation?MVV?;?2?subjective degree of fatigue:the Borg scale was used to evaluate the degree of subjective fatigue of patients in the test group before and after the test;?3?Activities of daily living activities:the use of Modified Barthel Index?MBI?;?4?quality of life:the use of Stroke Impact Scale?SIS?;?5?pulmonary infection.Result1.A total of 76 eligible subjects were enrolled,a total of 73 cases were completed,and 3cases were lost?1 in the test group and 2 in the control group?.2.Baseline comparison:Before the test,there was no significant difference in gender,age,body mass index,education level,course of disease,days of hospitalization,smoking status,hemiplegia side,hemiplegic side muscle strength,Brunnstrom stage,FAC grade,House-brackmann grading,and Watian drinking water test classification in the two groups?P>0.05?,are comparable.Before the test,there was no significant difference in FVC,FEV₁,PEF,MVV,MBI,and SIS between the two groups?P>0.05?.3.Pulmonary ventilation function:After the test,FVC,FEV_l,PEF,and MVV of the two groups of patients were improved compared with before the test,the difference was statistically significant?P<0.001?,and the test group was more significantly improved than the control group,the difference There was statistical significance?P=0.026,0.035,0.039,0.003?.4.Subjective fatigue:After the test,the Borg score of patients in the test group was lower than before the test,and the difference was statistically significant?P=0.000?.5.Activities of daily living:After the test,the MBI scores of the two groups of patients were higher than before the test,the difference was statistically significant?P<0.001?,and the test group was more significant than the control group,the difference was statistically significant?P=0.044?.6.Quality of life:After the test,the SIS dimensions and total scores of the two groups of patients,except for the emotional dimension,were improved compared with before the test,and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.001?;SIS was higher in the strength,emotion,communication,participation dimensions and total scores than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant?P=0.022,0.034,0.040,0.040,0.026?,but in the dimensions of memory/thinking,daily activities,mobility,and affected hand function,compared with the control group Compared with that,the difference was not statistically significant?P=0.264,0.858,0.683,0.117?.7.Pulmonary infection:During the follow-up of the experiment,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the group with pulmonary infection?P=0.304?.Conclusion1.Liuzijue breath training can improve lung function in patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia.2.Liuzijue breathing training can help improve the activities of daily life of patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia.3.Liuzijue breath training helps improve the quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia.
