Clinical Observation Of Dantao Xiaozhong Decoction In Treating Limb Swelling After Knee Osteoarthritis Artificial Joint Replacement

ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic effect of Dantao Xiaozhong Decoction on limb swelling after artificial replacement of knee osteoarthritis through a randomized controlled method.The clinical application of hindlimb swelling provides evidence-based medicine.MethodsThe case from this study came from January 2019 to December 2019 in the inpatient ward of the Department of Orthopedics,Department of Orthopedics,Sanming City Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine,Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.A total of 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis who underwent TKA post-operation were included,of which 30 cases in the control group were given routine treatment after TKA,and 30 cases in the observation group were given "Dantao Xiaozhong Decoction" treatment for 2 weeks.Observe the two groups of patients before and after the treatment of Chinese medicine symptom classification quantitative score,swelling measurement,pain visual simulation score,American Special Surgery Hospital(HSS)function evaluation,statistical analysis of the data using SPSS20.0 software,set P<0.05 Statistically significant standards.Results1.A total of 60 patients were enrolled in the study,of which 60 patients completed clinical observation.2.Before treatment,the baseline data(gender,age,height,weight,course of disease,surgical site)of the two groups of patients were not statistically significant when tested and compared(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups of patients were comparable.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients in the peripheral limb swelling value 10 cm below the midpoint of the patella,VAS score,TCM symptom quantification score and HSS score before treatment(P>0.05).3.After treatment,the degree of swelling of the affected limb between the two groups was statistically significant on the 3rd,5th,7th,and 14 th days after the operation(P<0.05),and the experimental group was superior to the control group.The quantitative scores of TCM symptom grading of the two groups of patients were statistically significant on the 3rd,7th,and 14 th day after surgery(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group.The difference in HSS function score between the two groups was statistically significant on the 7th and 14 th postoperative days(P<0.05),and the experimental group was superior to the control group.The VAS scores of the two groups of patients were statistically significant on the 3rd,7th,and 14 th day after surgery(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group.ConclusionDantao Xiaozhong Decoction combined with conventional treatment of TKA for stagnation of the knee osteoarthritis of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type has obvious curative effect on the swelling of the limbs after TKA.It can improve the early swelling and pain symptoms of patients after TKA,and is conducive to early rehabilitation training.
