| Objective To detect and analyze the expression of IFN-γ、TNF-α 、IL-10 inflammatory cytokines in peripheral serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients with neurobrucellosis, and to explore the effect of inflammatory reaction represented by IFN-γ、TNF-α 、IL-10 on the cellular immune function of central nervous system in patients with neurobrucellosis. And this can provide some ideas for the early diagnosis and treatment of neurobrucellosis in the future, and provide some theoretical basis for in-depth study of the pathogenesis of this disease. Methods From January 2018 to December 2019,we collected 42 patients with neurobrucellosis who were treated in the outpatient department and inpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University and Inner Mongolia comprehensive disease control center as the experimental group; At the same time,34 patients with brucellosis 、 24 patients with viral encephalitis and 29 patients without any infectious diseases were selected as control group. All the patients were taken venous blood on an empty stomach and performed aseptic lumbar puncture on the same day to collect cerebrospinal fluid samples. The expressions of IFN-γ 、 TNF-α 、 IL-10 in serum and cerebrospinal fluid samples were detected by MSD(Meso Scale Discovery)electrochemiluminescence assay. The experimental data were statistically analyzed by SPSS22.0 software.Results(1)The expressions of IFN-γand TNF-αin serum and IFN-γ、TNF-α and IL-10 in cerebrospinal fluid of patients with neurobrucellosis were significantly higher than those in normal group and brucellosis group.(P < 0.05).(2)Compared with the normal control group, the expression of IFN-γ and TNF-α in the serum of brucellosis group was significantly increased(P < 0.05).(3)Compared with viral encephalitis group, the expression of IL-10 in serum of patients with neurobrucellosis was decreased while TNF-αwas increased, and the expression of IFN-γ and TNF-α in cerebrospinal fluid was increased, with a significiant difference(P < 0.05).(4)In the neurobrucellosis group, the levels of IFN-γand TNF-α in cerebrospinal fluid were positively correlated(P < 0.05).Conclusion 1.Inflammatory cytokines IFN-γ、TNF-α and IL-10 jointly act on the immune inflammatory response of neurobrucellosis and play an important role in the occurrence and development of neurobrucellosis.2.IFN-γ and TNF-α are specifically and highly expressed in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of neurobrucellosis, which has an important clinical significance in the diagnosis of neurobrucellosis.3.The detection of TNF-α and IL-10 in serum combined with IFN-γ and TNF-α in cerebrospinal fluid will provide an important value in the differential diagnosis of neurobrucellosis and viral encephalitis, which can be widely used in clinic. |
