Objective Comparative analysis of the efficacy of three different regimens of 585 /1064 nm dual-wavelength dye laser alone, oral propranolol alone, and the combination of the two treatments for superficial infantile hemangiomas. Methods A total of 138 patients with superficial infantile hemangiomas who were treated at Yantai Yujingding Hospital,Qingdao University Medical College from September 2017 to September 2019 were taken as the research objects. The related auxiliary examinations were improved, and according to the treatment principles and the child’s guardian’s wishes, they were divided into laser treatment group(n = 52),oral drug treatment group(n = 46),and combined treatment group(n = 40)according to different treatment plans.Three groups of children received monthly follow-up visits. At the time of follow-up visits, the children’s gender, age, lesion location, lesion size, treatment time, treatment results, and adverse reactions were recorded. At the same time, changes in tumors were recorded by taking pictures.Follow-up was performed for 6 months after treatment. The evaluation criteria of Achauer et al.were used to evaluate the efficacy. And the adverse reactions of children in each group were recorded during the treatment.Using SPSS 23.0 for statistical analysis,P <0.05 was statistically significant difference. Results A total of 138 children with superficial hemangiomas in this experiment were treated in accordance with the doctor’s orders. There were no statistically significant differences in the general basic data of the three groups of children including their gender, age, tumor location, and tumor size(P > 0.05).It was found through experiments that the effective rate of the combined treatment group(97.5%,39/40)was not compared with the laser treatment group(96.2%,50/52)and the oral drug treatment group(95.7%,44/46)Significant difference(P > 0.05);The excellent and good rate of the combined treatment group(92.5%,37/40)was significantly higher than that of the laser treatment group(65.4%,34/52)and the oral medication group(78.3%,36/46).High,there is a difference(P <0.05);The ratio of the combined treatment group achieving grade IV excellence(62.5%,37/40)was compared with that of the laser group(30.8%,16/52)and the oral drug treatment group(32.6%,15/46).The children with excellent results exceeded half of the patients in this group, with significant differences. The required treatment time was(4.72 ± 1.03)months,which was significantly shorter than the laser treatment group(6.65 ± 1.46)and the oral drug treatment group(6.83 ± 1.44),there are differences(P <0.05).During the treatment of the three groups,a small number of children showed slight adverse reactions such as skin edema, blisters, diarrhea, and rash, but none of them had serious life-threatening complications or adverse reactions. Conclusions Both 585 / 1064 nm dual-wavelength laser alone and oral propranolol alone can achieve satisfactory results for superficial infantile hemangiomas, but the combination of the two is safer and better for superficial infantile hemangiomas, and the treatment time is also certain To a lesser extent.
