| Objective: To observe the effects of modified Chai Hu Shu Gan decoction combined with western medicine therapy on treating patients with stable angina pectoris(qi stagnation in cardiothoracic syndrome),angina and scores of TCM syndrome, usage of nitroglycerin,To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of using Chai Hu Shu Gan decoction combined with western medicine to treat patients with stable angina pectoris and to summarize the relevant experience. Methods: From March 2019 to January 2020,70 patients that have been diagnosed by western medicine as having stable angina of qi stagnation in cardiothoracic syndrome in the First Hospital Affiliated to Heilongjiang University of Chinese medicine,Cardiology apartment.Randomized number table method was used to divide the patients into treatment group and control group, with 35 cases in each group. Both groups were given standard treatment of stable angina. At the same time, the treatment group was also given Modified Chai Hu Shu Gan decoction. After 2 weeks of continuous medication, observed the changes of TCM syndrome score, the curative effect of angina pectoris and the usage of nitroglycerin.Results:1.After treatment, the single and total scores of TCM syndromes in both groups decreased, and the treatment group was superior to the control group in reducing the single scores of chest tightness, chest pain, sighing, abdominal distension and tightness, and the total scores of TCM syndromes, with statistical significance(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in belching between the two groups(P>0.05).The total efficiency of TCM syndrome score for the treatment group was 88.24%,which was higher than71.88% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).2.After treatment, the efficiency of angina pectoris was 82.35% in the treating group and 59.38% in the control group. The difference wasstatistically significant(P< 0.05).3.After treatment, the stopping rate of nitroglycerin in the treating group was 85.29%,and that of the control group was 62.50%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no obvious side effects of liver function and renal function during the treatment. Conclusion:Modified Chai Hu Shu Gan decoction combined with western medicine can effectively improve the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome, improve the effect of angina pectoris and reduce the consumption of nitroglycerin. |
