Objectives To investigate the Self-perceived burden of PD patients. To understand Self-perceived burden with Ability of Daily life 、Social support level and Medical coping style’s correlation in PD patients;Analysis the factors influencing the Self-perceived burden of PD patients. It provides a theoretical basis for individualized nursing intervention measures to reduce the self-perceived burden of clinical Parkinson’s disease.Methods1 A total of 340 patients with Parkinson’s disease(PD)were selected from the outpatients and inpatients of the department of Neurology of a grade A hospital in Dalian by continuous sampling method.2 The research tools were self-designed general demographic questionnaire,H-Y rating scale,self-perceived burden scale,self-care ability rating Scale, medical coping style questionnaire, and social support rating scale.3 SPSS22.0 software was used for data collation and analysis, including descriptive statistical analysis(frequency, percentage, mean ± standard deviation),one-way an OVA,independent sample T-test,Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis,α=0.05 were inclusion 、α=0.10 were exclusion.Results1 A total of 340 questionnaires were issued and 330 effective questionnaires were collected, with an effective recovery rate of 97.06%.The 330 PD patients who participated in this questionnaire were aged between 38 and 85 years old, with an average of 65.68±10.88 years old, including 148 males(44.80%)and 182 females(55.20%).In this study,75.50% PD patients had different levels of Self-perceived burden.2 The total score of PD patients’ Self-perceived burden was(24.13±6.42)scores,including(2.58±0.82)scores of economic burden,(2.53±0.80)scores of physical burden and(2.31±0.67)scores of emotional burden.3 The total score of social support level of PD patients was(33.55±3.73),lower than the national norm level, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),including(8.09±0.75)for objective material support,(17.65±2.13)for subjective spiritual support,and(7.81±2.19)for support utilization.4 Scores of coping style of PD patients in all dimensions: the coping style score was(17.15±3.37),which was lower than the national norm level; The score of avoidance coping style was(15.51±2.23),higher than the domestic norm. The score of yield coping style was(11.11±2.86),higher than the domestic norm, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5 Scores of daily self-care ability of PD patients: 14 patients(4.20%)could not take care of themselves at all,20 patients(6.10%)could take care of themselves partially,55 patients(16.70%)could take care of themselves basically, and 241 patients(73.00%)could take care of themselves completely.6 Parkinson’s patients Self-perceived burden single factor analysis results showed that age, level of education, place of residence, personal income, work status, drug kinds, whether have other disease, the number of children, whether to hire workers, main caregivers, main caregivers daily health care time, severity of disease differences statistically significant(P < 0.05).7 Parkinson’s patients Self-perceived burden with Ability of daily life, social support level and medical coping styles of the correlation analysis results show that :the Self-perceived burden with Ability of daily life score(r =-0.681,p < 0.01),in the face of coping styles(r =-0.473,p < 0.01),the avoidance response(r =-0.266,p <0.01),social support score(r =-0.551,p < 0.01)has negative correlation, the yield coping styles with Self-perceived burden(r = 0.618,p < 0.01)has positive correlation.8 Parkinson’s disease Self-perceived burden regression analysis results show that the ability of daily life, the severity of disease, main caregivers daily care time, occupational status(on-the job),in the face of coping styles and social support level is the influence factors, can explain 68.40% of the variation.Conclusion1 The incidence of self-perceived burden in PD patients is relatively high, and generally at a mild level.2 The higher the level of self-care ability and social support in PD patients, the lower the level of self-perceived burden in PD patients with positive coping style, and the higher the level of self-perceived burden in PD patients with negative coping style.3 The self-perceived burden of PD patients was mainly affected by their ability to take care of themselves in daily life, severity of disease, daily care time of primary caregivers, occupational status(on-the-job),coping style, and social support level.Clinical medical workers should find out the burden of patients in time, and take different measures according to different factors,so as to effectively reduce the burden of patients and improve their quality of life.
