| Objectives:This study investigated the self-perceived burden, coping style and social support of glioma patients through a questionnaire, and investigated the influencing factors of self-perceived burden of glioma patients.to provide reference for the formulation of specific intervention measures for glioma patients. Methods:In this study,167 outpatients and inpatients of neurosurgery in a third-class hospital in Shenyang were selected as subjects by continuous sampling, and a cross-sectional survey was conducted. The research tools were collected by using the general demographic questionnaire of glioma patients,self-feeling burden scale, medical coping style questionnaire and social support rating scale designed by the researchers.Use SPSS22.0 software for data collation and analysis.Results:1.A total of 167 valid questionnaires were distributed, with an average age of(53.17 ±13.86)years,including 86 males(51.50%)and 81 females(48.50%).The age of glioma patients was(190.82)years old, with an average of(53.17 ±13.86)years old.2.The total score of self-perceived burden of glioma patients was(51.64 ±14.75),and the average score of "care burden" was the highest(3.03 ±0.94).In this study,95.20% of glioma patients have varying degrees of self-perceived burden, generally at a moderate level.3.The scores of coping style of glioma patients were as follows: face score(16.24 ±3.56),avoidance score(17.11 ±1.95)and yield score(8.59 ±3.34).The average total score of social support in patients with glioma was(43.65 ±6.01).4.The results of univariate analysis of self-perceived burden of glioma patients showed that age, education level, working status, health status of main caregivers, monthly family income, type of medical expense payment, course of disease stage, disease knowledge and patients’ self-care ability had significant influence on patients’ self-feeling burden score(P < 0.05).5.The results of correlation analysis between self-perceived burden and medical coping style and social support level of glioma patients showed that self-perceived burden of glioma patients was positively correlated with medical coping style(r = 0.314,p < 0.01),while avoidance coping style(r = 0.175,p < 0.05)and yield coping style(r = 0.486,p <0.01)were positively correlated. The self-perceived burden of patients with glioma was negatively correlated with social support(r = 0.177,P < 0.05)and objective material support(r = 0.232,P < 0.01).6.The results of multiple linear regression showed that education level, payment type of medical expenses, coping style, understanding of disease knowledge, patients’ self-care ability and family monthly income(yuan)were the six variables that affected the self-perceived burden of glioma patients.the main factors affecting the burden.Conclusion:1.Most of the patients with glioma have different degrees of SPB,which is at a moderate level, which needs to be paid more attention by the society.2.There was a positive correlation between SPB and yield coping in glioma patients, and a negative correlation between SPB and social support in glioma patients.Taking positive coping style, the lower the level of self-feeling burden of patients, the more negative coping style, the more serious their SPB.3.Education level, payment type of medical expenses, coping style, understanding of disease knowledge, patients’ self-care ability and family monthly income(yuan)are the main influencing factors of glioma patients’ SPB.Clinical medical workers should find the burden of patients in time, and take different measures according to different factors,so as to effectively reduce the burden of patients and improve their quality of life. |
