Clinical Observation On Therapeutic Effect Of Removing Dampness And Regulating Qi-Flowing For Relieving Pain Decoction In Treatment Of Childhood Functional Abdominal Pain

Objective:To observe and compare two groups of pre-treatment and post-treatment patients,then conclude curative effect of Prof.Han Xinmin treats childhood functional abdominal pain(FAP)in stagnant of pathogenic in intestine meridian syndrome with his self-created prescription named Removing Dampness and Regulating Qi-Flowing for Relieving Pain decoction.Summing up Prof.Han’s experience in syndrome differentiation of FAP and providing clinical medicine new way of treatment and syndrome differentiation of FAP.Methods:Collecting 60 cases of childhood FAP between January to December 2019 from pediatrics department of Chinese medicine hospital of Jiangsu province.These 60 cases accord with FAP in stagnant of pathogenic in intestine meridian syndrome and FAP-NOS in Rome IV criteria(FAP in Rome III criteria).Randomly divided into treatment group 30 cases and control group 30 cases for comparative analysis.The treatment group took well-adjusted Removing Dampness and Regulating Qi-Flowing for Relieving Pain decoction,control group took Regulating Qi-Flowing and Regulating Stomach oral liquid,while both groups took Combined Bifidobacterium,Lactobacillus,Enterococcus and Bacillus cereus tablets as a base treatment.Both groups got a 4-week constant course of treatment and comparative analysis was proceeded in pre-treatment and post-treatment(2 weeks,4 weeks and 1 month follow-up).By recording main-symptom scores(included time of abdominal pain,nature of abdominal pain and level of abdominal pain)and secondary-symptom scores(included belching,poor appetite,mood swings,constipation or loose stool)then analyzed by IBM SPSS 23 and make a conclusion.Results:After 2 weeks of treatment found that there were 5 cured cases,5 marked effect cases,15 effective cases and 5 ineffective cases in treatment group,with total effective rate 83.33%,markedly effective rate 33.33%,cure rate 16.67%.Meanwhile 4 cured cases,0 markedly effective cases,11 effective cases and 15 ineffective cases in control group,with total effective rate 50%,markedly effective rate 13.33%,cure rate 13.33%.According to above figures,the total effective rate and markedly effective rate after 2 weeks treatment of treatment group was higher than control group’s with a statistical significance at(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment found that there are 15 cured cases,7 markedly effective cases,6 effective cases and 2 ineffective cases in treatment group,with total effective rate 93.33%,markedly effective rate 73.33%,cure rate 50.00%;and 14 cured cases,4 markedly effective cases,11 effective cases and 1 ineffective case in control group,with total effective rate 96.67%,markedly effective rate 60.00%,cure rate 46.67%.According to above figures,the total effective rate and markedly effective rate after 4 weeks treatment of treatment group and control group’s had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:Prof.Han’s self-created prescription named Removing Dampness and Regulating Qi-Flowing for Relieving Pain decoction has obviously curative effect for FAP,especially aimed at FAP with dampness blocking,dyspepsia and Qi stagnation.This prescription has quick onset and shorten the course of disease,so it’s well worth deeply learning and popularizing to be used in clinical medicine.
