Correlation Between TCM Syndromes And TCM Constitution And Personality Characteristics In Breast Cancer Patients

Purpose:this survey is to obtain distribution characteristics of TCM syndrome types of breast cancer,and with the aid of traditional Chinese medicine health scale for patients with breast cancer were evaluated by TCM constitution type,using eysenck personality questionnaire survey analysis of patients with breast cancer tended to personality traits,TCM syndrome type in patients with breast cancer and the Chinese medicine physique and personality characteristics of relativity,for the prevention of breast cancer,evidence-based medicine and psychosomatic development provides new train of thought,in order to improve the clinical therapeutic effect.Methods:using the method of clinical epidemiological observational cross-sectional study,according to the strict inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,will conform to the breast cancer patients who were type of traditional Chinese medicine,and guide the patients to complete the constitution of TCM scale and eysenck personality questionnaire,creating a database of relevant information,using SPSS25.0 statistical software,general data using descriptive analysis,multiple comparisons between multiple sample mean the LSD-t test,the comparison of multiple choice questionnaire using multiple response analysis and correspondence analysis.Results:1.The breast cancer patients with TCM syndrome type in frequency from high to low in turn is:liver depression and qi stagnation syndrome 27 cases(29.67%),the impact of imbalance of the 27 cases(29.67%),spleen and stomach weak card 16 cases(17.58%),13 cases(14.29%)of the liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome,qi deficiency syndrome two 4 cases(4.40%),without a license type discernible type 3 cases(3.30%),toxic heat wenjie syndrome in 1 case(1.10%).2.Among the breast cancer patients,30(32.97%)had a mild constitution,61(67.03%)had a biased constitution,8(8.79%)had a simple biased constitution,and 53(58.24%)had a combined biased constitution.The occurrence frequency of each constitution was from high to low:44 cases(48.35%),42 cases(46.15%),41 cases(45.05%),35 cases(38.46%),32 cases(35.16%),31 cases(34.07%),30 cases(32.97%),and 20 cases(21.98%).3.The score of eysenck personality in breast cancer patients was(52.42 ± 9.14)in dimension E,(52.80 ± 9.35)in dimension N,(53.68±7.14)in dimension P,and(53.52 ± 6.21)in dimension L.There was no significant difference between the dimensions of E,N and P in the EPQ scale of female breast cancer patients and the national female norm(P>0.05),and the score of the L scale was higher than that of the national female norm,with statistical significance(P<0.00).It has not been shown that personality is associated with breast cancer.On the personality dimension of E scale(internal-extroversion),the intermediate personality accounted for 54.95%,the extroversion(typical extroversion+extroversion)accounted for 31.87%,and the introversion(typical introversion+introversion)accounted for 13.18%.On the personality dimension of N scale(neuroticism),the middle type of personality accounted for 52.75%,the unstable type(typical instability+propensity instability)accounted for 34.06%,and the stable type(typical stability+propensity stability)accounted for 13.19%.On the personality dimension of P scale(mental quality),75.82%were psychological normal,24.18%were mental quality(mental quality obviously+tendency mental quality).4.Correspondence analysis between TCM syndrome type and TCM constitution in breast cancer patients:qi stagnation syndrome is closely related to qi stagnation,phlegm dampness and dampness and heat;The liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome is closely related to Yin deficiency,Yang deficiency and qi deficiency.5.Correlation analysis between TCM syndromes and personality characteristics of breast cancer patients:syndrome of liver stagnation and qi stagnation,syndrome of liver and kidney Yin deficiency tend to be emotionally unstable personality,syndrome of chongren disorder and syndrome of no syndrome tend to be emotionally stable personality,and syndrome of chongren disorder has higher concealment.6.Correspondence analysis of TCM constitution and personality characteristics of breast cancer patients:there is a close relationship between introversion personality and qi-deficiency quality;The relationship between extroversion personality and Yin deficiency quality is close.The relationship between unstable personality and phlegm and dampness,blood stasis and dampness and heat was close.The relationship between the peaceful character and the stable personality is close.Spiritual personality is closely related to humid heat and Yin deficiency.Conclusion:from the breast cancer patients who participated in the investigation,the common TCM syndromes of breast cancer patients are the syndrome of liver stagnation and qi stagnation,and the disorder of rush to work.The types of constitution were mainly biased and sandwiched,and the types of constitution with higher frequency were qi stagnation,qi deficiency and Yang deficiency.In terms of psychological characteristics of personality,most of the patients are in the middle type of personality,but some of the breast cancer patients still have unstable type of personality,mental personality.There is a certain correlation between TCM syndrome type and TCM constitution and personality.
