Object:To explore the intervention effects of Health Qigong and Tai Chi on blood glucose biochemical indexes and psychological status of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, with a view to improving the physical and mental conditions of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, improving the quality of life of the patients,Treatment provides a reference.Promote traditional sports health programs and popularize traditional sports health concepts. Methods: This study involved three intervention groups: Health Qigong,Tai Chi,and the control group. The intervention time was 12 weeks,5 times a week, and 60 minutes each exercise. The patients participated in the experiment from beginning to end under the guidance of the same group and the same coach. The intervention content of the Health Qigong group is a self-made routine of Health Qigong, the Tai Chi group is Chen’s 18-style Tai Chi,and the control group is diabetes health education. The selected indicators are divided into physiological indicators and psychological questionnaires.Physiological indicators were Fasting Blood Glucose(FBG),Glycosylated Hemoglobin(Hb A1C)and C-peptide response. The psychological questionnaire survey was the Index of Well-Being(IWB)and the Depression Scale(the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale(CES-D)).The happiness index is used to test how well-being the subject is currently experiencing.Affective balance scale is used for the psychological satisfaction of the general population. The Depression Scale(CES-D)assesses patients’ depression status.Questionnaires were distributed to participants before and after the experiment for statistical analysis.Results:1)After 12 weeks of intervention,FBG and Hb A1 C decreased in Health Qigong group,Tai Chi group and control group, but there was no significant difference between before and after intervention group and after intervention group(P>0.05).2)The C peptide in the Health Qigong group decreased after intervention, but the difference was not statistically significant,P>0.05;the C peptide in the Tai Chi group decreased after intervention(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant; There was a difference between the two, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).3)The well-being index and overall sentiment index of the Health Qigong group and Taijiquan group increased significantly after the intervention,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;the difference in the control group before and after the intervention was not significant, and there was no statistical significance(P> 0.05);The happiness index and overall sentiment index of the three groups showed significant difference(P<0.05)after the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant.4)The depression index of the Health Qigong group decreased significantly after the intervention, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the depression index of the Tai Chi group and the control group decreased, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);The depression indexes of the three groups showed differences after intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).in conclusion:1)Health Qigong and Tai Chi have a positive effect on elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, and can stably reduce the patients’ FBG and Hb A1 C levels.Tai Chi can significantly reduce patients’ C peptide and increase insulin sensitivity.2)Health Qigong and Tai Chi are helpful for regulating the psychological health of patients, improving their happiness in life, and improving their depression.Health Qigong has a more significant effect on depression in patients with type 2 diabetes.3)Health Qigong and Tai Chi are suitable treatment methods for elderly type 2 diabetes patients. It is recommended to promote them among the elderly type 2 diabetes patients. |
