| Objective: To systematically evaluate the adverse effects of Azithromycin on pediatric respiratory diseases. Methods: Computer retrieval of the CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,PubMed,Embase, and Cochrane Library,to review the literature on the randomized controlled trial(RCT)of using Azithromycin in pediatric respiratory diseases at home and abroad. Then screened the literature according to the established inclusion and exclusion criteria, evaluated the methodological quality of the included extracted data, and performed Meta-analysis and subgroup analysis by using RevMan 5.1 software. Results: A total of 12 literatures, including 9 Chinese literatures and 3 English literatures.A total of 779 cases in the observation group and 791 cases in the control group were collected.Meta-analysis of literature in the whole group and each subgroup showed that the incidence of adverse reactions in the application of Azithromycin in pediatric respiratory diseases was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: When Azithromycin is used to treat pediatric respiratory diseases, there are less adverse reactions, indicating that its safety is better. However,it still needs to pay more attention to its adverse reactions when it is used in pediatric clinic. This study needs more high-quality randomized double-blind controlled clinical trials for further verification. |
