Clinical Observation On Premenstrual Syndrome Of Liver Depression Treated By Bailing Tiaogan Decoction With Auricular Acupuncture

Objective :This study observed the clinical therapeutic effect of Bailing Tiaogan decoction,and Bailing Tiaogan decoction with auricular acupuncture on premenstrual syndrome of liver depression type,to provide a new idea for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome of liver depression,and also evidence for treating this disease from the liver.Method:In this study,66 patients with premenstrual syndrome of liver stagnation were randomly divided into Chinese medicine-auricular acupuncture group,and Chinese medicine group,with 33 cases in each group.Chinese medicine-auricular acupuncture group was treated with Bailing Tiaogan Decoction orally combined with auricular acupuncture at the same time.Chinese medicine group was treated with Bailing Tiaogan Decoction orally.Treating three menstrual cycles.Follow-up was performed three months after the end of treatment.The short-term and long-term effects of the two therapies were compared by the patient’s Daily Severity Record(DRSP)and TCM Syndrome score table.Result:1.In terms of clinical efficacy,the luteal phase scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and there was a significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that both therapies can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of PMS.Between the two groups,there was no statistically significant difference both in the total effective rate and the DRSP luteal phase scores(P<0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of the two groups was close.2.In terms of TCM syndrome improvement,both methods can significantly improve the TCM syndrome of liver depression(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups showed that the effect of comprehensive therapy(Chinese medicine with auricular acupuncture)group was better than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).3.In terms of long-term efficacy,the efficacy of comprehensive therapy was superior to the single Chinese medicine therapy(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.In terms of the improvement of both clinical symptoms and TCM syndromes,comprehensive therapy(Bailing Tiaogan Decoction combined with auricular acupuncture)and simple Bailing Tiaogan Decoction are both effective for the treatment of liver stagnation type PMS.2.From the aspect of TCM syndrome improvement,the efficacy of comprehensive therapy was significantly better than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group.3.The long-term efficacy of comprehensive therapy is significantly better than mono-therapy.Comprehensive therapy can reduce recurrence and is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.4.During the treatment,no patients were found to have a side effect after using the drug or the auricular acupuncture.It is proved that Bailing Tiaogan Decoction and auricular acupuncture are both safe and effective therapies.Compared with western medicines with more side effects,Chinese medicine therapy is more worthy of application and promotion.
