Clinical Observation On Acupotomy Combined With Chiropractic For Atlantoaxial Subluxation

Objectives To observe the clinical effect of acupotomy combined with chiropractic treatment of atlantoaxial subluxation,and then provide theoretical support for the clinical application of this method.Methods Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with acupotomy combined with chiropractic treatment for two courses.The first course of treatment:Acupotomy once,one hour after rest(with wound healing degree)for American chiropractic once,four days later for American chiropractic once again.The second course of treatment: The second course is performed one week after the end of the first course of acupotomy treatment.The specific method is the same as the first course of treatment.The control group was treated with American chiropractic for 2 courses.Two courses of treatment were treated with American chiropractic 4 times,twice a week,with an interval of 3-4 days between each treatment.Before and after treatment,X-ray films were taken and VBLADS were recorded,and the curative effect was evaluated by the pain visual analog scale(VAS)and the atlantoaxial subluxation patient score scale(PSS).Results After treatment,there were significant differences in VAS score and PSS score between the two groups(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in VBLADS(P > 0.05).In the treatment group,10 cases were cured,13 cases were markedly effective,5 cases were effective and 2 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 93.33%;in the control group,5 cases were cured,11 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective and 5 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 83.33%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusions Both acupotomy combined with chiropractic and chiropractic alone can effectively improve the atlantoaxial subluxation joint disorder and the biomechanical imbalance of the vertebral body in patients with atlantoaxial subluxation.The clinical effect of Acupotomy combined with chiropractic treatment is better than that of chiropractic alone,which is suitable for further promotion.Figure 0;Table 15;Reference 80...
