| Objectives:To analyze the prognostic factors for patients with chronic subdural hematoma(CSDH)treated by mini-invasive drainage, and guide the clinical application. Methods:A total of 95 patients with chronic subdural hematoma treated by mini-invasive drainage in Neurosurgery Department,Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical University from January 2017 to June 2018 who satisfied the inclusion criteria were enrolled in this study.Their preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative influencing factors were analyzed. They were divided into a good prognosis group and a poor prognosis group according to their Markwalder grading when discharged and their head CT status in a reexamination that was done one month after being discharged from the hospital.Chi-square test or Fisher’s exact probability test was performed for single factor. The results with statistical significance were obtained, and logistic regression analysis was carried out for multiple samples. Results:The results showed that there were 73 patients(76.8%)in the good prognosis group and 22 patients(23.2%)in the poor prognosis group. The Chi-square test or Fisher’s exact probability test for single factor indicated that the following had a statistically significant difference(P<0.05),including age>60,patients with encephalatrophy before operation,GCS score≥13 when admitted, and the application of urokinase flushing as well as atorvastatin after operation. The logistic regression analysis for multiple samples indicated that the following risk factors influencing patients’ prognosis, including age(P<0.01,B=-0.040),GCS score when admitted(P<0.01,B=0.347),and the application of urokinase flushing after operation(P<0.01,B=0.918).Conclusions:This study retrospectively analyzed various preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative factors influencing prognosis of the patients with chronic subdural hematoma treated by mini-invasive drainage, and it was found that there were the following risk factors influencing patients’ prognosis, including age,GCS score when admitted, and the application of urokinase flushing after operation, which can help clinicians to judge and improve patients’ prognosis. |
