Image Classification And Its Clinical Significance Of Chronic Subdural Hematoma

Objective: To explore the imaging features, pathogenesis andthe cause of post operative complication of chronic subdural hematoma(CSDH). Methods: We collected and analyzed the clinical data of110patients in Luzhou medical school affiliated hospital during January2008toDecember2013. The CSDH was classified into four groups according totheir density and appearance on CT scans: low density (40), equal density(30), mixed density (25), high density (15). We calculate the averageduration of symptoms and the number of cases of postoperative recurrence.Results:100patients completely recovered, there were10patients ofhematoma recurrence and there were no deaths. The average duration ofdisease is180days and no hematoma recurrence in the low density group.The average duration of disease is150days and there were1patients ofhematoma recurrence in the equal density group. The average duration ofdisease is120days and there were6patients of hematoma recurrence in themixed density group. The average duration of disease is110days and therewere4patients of hematoma recurrence in the high density group.Conclusion: The cause of post operative complication of chronic subduralhematoma (CSDH) include the clinical course of patients with hematoma,density, postoperative intracranial product volume, drainage volume, and postoperative brain complex degree. Determining the cause of post operativecomplication of chronic subdural hematoma, which are Importantsignificance for choosing the appropriate clinical treatment and preventivedmeasures after the operation. The clinician should make timely diagnosisand treatment according to above factors.
