| Objective:To compare the curative effect of scalp acupuncture combined with routine acupuncture and routine acupuncture on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and providing a good and repeatable clinical optimization scheme for the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Method:Using randomized controlled clinical research method,70 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, and each group has 35 cases. The treatment group was treated with scalp acupuncture combined with routine acupuncture, while the control group was treated with routine acupuncture. Both groups were treated once a day,10 times for a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment,5 times for each treatment rest for 2 days. Before treatment, after one course of treatment and after the end of treatment, the clinical evaluation was conducted with McGill Pain Questionnaire(SF-MPQ),Tanaka Jingjiu Cervical Radiculopathy 20-point Quantitative Scale and General Anxiety Scale(GAD-7).Result:1.There were 64 cases completed in this experiment, including 35 cases in the treatment group, detached 3 cases,35 cases in the control group and detached 3 cases. There was no significant difference in the execution and compliance between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Baseline comparison: before treatment, gender, age, disease course,PRI score,VAS score,PPI score,Cervical Symptom 20-point Quantitative Scale score and the Generalized Anxiety Scale(GAD-7)score of the two groups were compared among the groups, and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05),which was comparable.3.Comparisons of total effective rates:the total effective rate was 90.62% in the treatment group and 81.25% in the control group after treatment. There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).4.The score comparison of the SF-MPQ:after treatment, the PRI score,VAS score and PPI score of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, with significant differences in intra-group comparison and inter-group comparison(P <0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group.5.The score comparison of the Tanaka Jingjiu Cervical Radiculopathy 20-point Quantitative Scale: comparisons within the group showed that the total score of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison between the two groups showed that there were significant differences in total score, symptom score, life and work ability score and sign score after treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group. There was no significant difference in hand function score(P>0.05).6.Generalized Anxiety Scale(GAD-7)score: the incidence of anxiety in both groups was lower than that before treatment.Comparing the scores of anxiety, the intra-group comparison showed that the anxiety symptoms of the two groups improved after treatment compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. The inter-group comparison showed that the difference between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P <0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group.7.There was no significant difference in safety evaluation between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Scalp acupuncture combined with routine acupuncture can effectively alleviate the pain and numbness of patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, improve the activity function of cervical spine, and alleviate the anxiety of patients. It has good clinical efficacy.2.Scalp acupuncture combined with routine acupuncture has high safety and compliance. |
