Objective:To inspect the clinical potency of puncture and cupping combined with general acupuncture on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(qi stagnation and blood stasis). Methods:Clinical data of patients with radiculotic cervical spondylosis(qi stagnation and blood stasis)in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were collected, and 60 patients meeting the requirements of the subject were selected as research objects, and randomly divided into control group and experimental group,with30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture data, and the experimental group was treated with conventional acupuncture combined with cupping therapy. The changes of VAS scale score, cervical spondylosis Symptom scale score, cervical disuse index observation table score and TCM syndrome scale score before and after treatment were observed in the two groups, and the clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results: 1.After two courses of treatment, the VAS scale score, neck disuse index observation scale score, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scale score of both groups of patients decreased compared to before treatment(P<0.05).Among them, the VAS scale score, neck disuse index observation scale score, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scale score of the acupuncture group combined with acupuncture and cupping showed statistical differences compared to the same period of conventional acupuncture group(P<0.05).2.After treatment, the scores of the symptom scale of cervical spondylosis in the two groups were increased to varying degrees.By comparing the scores of the symptom scale of cervical spondylosis in the two groups after treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.The total effective rate of acupuncture combined with cupping was 96.67%,which was superior to 80.00% in the routine acupuncture group, and the discrepancy was statistically meaning(P<0.05).Conclusion: Conventional acupuncture, acupuncture and cupping combined with conventional acupuncture are effective in the treatment of radiculopathy of cervical spondylosis(qi stagnation and blood stasis),and the effect of acupuncture and cupping combined with conventional acupuncture is better, especially in alleviating neck pain, improving cervical spine dysfunction, and improving patients’ working and living ability.
