| [Background]Cardiac Amyloidosis(CA)is a group of rare disease contributed to the deposition of insoluble fibrils in the extracellular of myocardium, resulting in dysfunction of heart by abnormality of architecture and toxicity of the myocardium. There are 8 types of amyloid fibril proteins that can deposit in the extracellular of myocardium,7 of which can influence organs systematically and 1 of which exclusively to heart.IObjective]To describe the characteristics and to identify the prognostic predictors of patients with cardiac amyloidosis.[Methods]This was a retrospective analysis, including the medical data of patients with Cardiac Amyloidosis diagnosed by EMB,who were admitted to the FuWai Hospital from January 2000 to February 2019.We carried out the follow-up visit through telephone. We used Kaplan-meier analysis to determine the risk factors of cardiac amyloidosis and Cox proportional hazard regression models to identify the independent predictor of outcomes.[Results]There are 25 patients with cardiac amyloidosis proven by EMB.There was no significant difference in survival between AL group and non-AL group.Cox proportional hazard modeling showed LDH≥242U/L(HR 5.774;95%CI,1.134-29.401;P=0.035)、positive urine protein(HR 5.006;95%CI 0.997,25.14;P=0.05)>significantly associated with the risk of mortality. And NT-proBNP≥8483 pg/ml is the independent factor for the prognosis of CA.[Conclusion]LDH≥242U/L、positive urine protein、right atrial enlargement and cTnI≥0.Ing/ml、NT-proBNP≥8483 pg/ml have prognostic value for patients with cardiac amyloidosis. |
