ObjectiveTo study the effects of quality control circle on soft skills,team performance,quality of surgical care and patient satisfaction of surgical nurses It can provide reference for nursing management personnel to cultivate the soft ability and team ability of clinical nursing staff,improve the quality of nursing and improve patient satisfaction.MethodsFrom September 2016 to April 2017,nurses from three major departments of the surgical Department of Shaoyang Central Hospital were selected by using the convenient sampling method.They were randomly divided into a trial group and a control group.Each group had 40 cases because of the loss of sample size.37 people in the final test group and 38 people in the control group completed the study.The control group carried out routine care work.The experimental group implemented an eight-month quality control circle intervention on the basis of regular care work,namely the establishment of a quality control circle implementation committee and a group circle.Subject selection,preparation of activity plan,status quo,target setting,analysis,strategy formulation,implementation and review of countermeasures,effectiveness confirmation,standardization,review and improvement.Before and after the intervention,nurses 'soft skills scale,team performance scale,tangible results in the quality control circle,intangible results(self-growth)evaluation table,and patient satisfaction were used to evaluate.Through Epi Data3.1 software to establish a database,SPSS 22.0 software to statistical analysis of the collected data,statistical analysis methods using descriptive analysis,T test,2 test and so on.Results(1)Before the intervention,the demographic data survey,nurse soft skills scale,team performance scale scores,and patient satisfaction scores of the two groups of surgical nurses were not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)After the end of the quality control circle,the total score of soft skills of surgical nurses in the experimental group was increased from(288.54±26.01)to(301.24±24.27),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant change in the total score of soft skills of nursing nurses in the control group,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3)After the end of the quality control circle,the total score of the performance of the team of surgical nurses in the experimental group was increased from(138.41±22.27)to(152.73±22.00)points,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),There was no significant change in the total performance of the team of surgical nurses in the control group,and the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).(4)After the end of the quality control circle,The total score of soft skills of nurses in the test group(301.24±24.27)was higher than that of the control group(288.03±19.42).The total score of team performance(152.73±22.00)in the test group was higher than that of the control group(141.18±13.77)points,The differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)After the end of the quality control circle,the rate of knowledge of discharge guidance for patients in the urology Department of the experimental group was raised from 50.3 % to 89 %,and the target achievement rate was 148.3 % and the progress rate was 76.9 %;the incidence of diarrhea in patients with nasal feeding in the second region of neurosurgery was reduced from 13.29 % to 3.45 %,the target achievement rate was 150.92 %,and the progress rate was 74.04 %;the incidence of constipation in bedridden patients in Orthopaedic Region II decreased from 44 % to 12 %,the target achievement rate was 107 %,and the progress rate was 72.7 %.The difference was statistically significant between the experimental group and the control group(P< 0.05).(6)After the end of the quality control circle,the total score and dimensions of patient satisfaction were higher in the experimental group than the control groups.The difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05),while there was no significant difference in the total score and dimensions of patient satisfaction in the control group(P> 0.05).Conclusions(1)The quality control circle can improve the soft skills of surgical nurses.(2)The quality control circle can improve the team performance.(3)The quality control circle can improve the quality of surgical care.(4)The quality control circle can improve the satisfaction of surgical patients.
