Objective:The study focus on carrying out quality control circle(QCC)in clinicaldepartments, explore the effect of quality control circle on the clinical departments ofquality management,especially the effect on the quality of medical records andpatient satisfaction,provide practical experience for our hospital to carry out qualitycontrol circles comprehensively.Methods:This study is divided into two parts: the effect on quality of medical records byQCC, the influence to patient satisfaction by QCC.According to the sequence oftime,the object of study were divided into control group and experimental group.Thecontrol group is the situation before carrying out QCC,and experimental group is thecircumstances after implementation of QCC.By comparing the scores of the controlgroup and the experimental group,explore the effect of QCC activities on the qualityof medical records and patient satisfaction.Select the test level α=0.05,and P <0.05is statistically significant.Results:1、The scores of medical records are significantly different compared to beforeby QCC(P<0.0001),the average number of defects per medical records decreasedfrom6.7/copies to3.3/copies.2、In the part with doctors of patient satisfaction,there are differences in scoresbefore and after improvement about QCC(P<0.0001),the average number of eachpatient is not satisfied with the problem decreased from3.1to1.6.3、In the part with nurses of patient satisfaction,there are differences in scoresbefore and after improvement about QCC(P<0.0001),the average number of eachpatient is not satisfied with the problem decreased from2.0to1.1.4、There is no difference between before and after the launch of QCC aboutother issues during hospitalization(P>0.05). Conclusion:1、The quality of medical records has been improved by QCC.2、Patient satisfaction with doctors and nurses has been increased after theapplication of QCC.3、QCC makes no difference about other issues during hospitalization.4、By conducting QCC,members mastered the techniques of QCC,and have beenimproved in invisible outcomes,such as responsibility,confidence and other aspects.
