ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of pricking and cupping in the treatment of acute migraine.Study its superiority to provide more low-cost,effective and less side effects for clinical treatment of acute migraine.MethodFrom February 2018 to July 2018,86 patients with acute migraine in the outpatient department of acupuncture and moxibustion department of Shenzhen Baoan District Hospital affiliated to Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the study subjects.According to the random number method,43 patients in the oral rizatriptan benzoate tablet group(control group)and 43 patients in the pricking and cupping group(observation group). The control group was given rizatriptan benzoate tablets 10 mg orally, once a day,20 days as a course of treatment. The observation group was given pricking and cupping treatment, once every 5 days, four times as a course of treatment. Both groups were treated for a course of treatment. Before treatment, visual analogue scale(VAS)and headache score were calculated. Two hours after treatment and 24 hours after treatment, the patients were evaluated with VAS.After the treatment, the headache score was calculated and the total curative effect was evaluated. The patients were followed up 3 months and 6 months after the end of treatment. The patients were evaluated by headache score and long-term efficacy. All data were collected and analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.ResultThere were 2 cases in the control group and 3 cases in the observation group falling off.The immediate effective rate of the control group was 58.54%,while that of the observation group was 80.00%,which was higher than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the VAS score of the observation group decreased significantly 24 hours after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,5 cases were cured,7 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were effective and 12 cases were ineffective in the control group, and the total clinical effective rate was 70.73%.In the observation group,16 cases were cured,17 cases were markedly effective,3 cases were effective and 4 cases were ineffective, and the total clinical effective rate was 90.00%.The total effective rate of the two groups was significantly different(P<0.05).After 3 months of follow-up,the control group cured 0 cases, markedly effective 2 cases, effective 10 cases, ineffective 29 cases, the total clinical effect was 29.27%.And the observation group cured 10 cases, markedly effective 12 cases, effective 7 cases, ineffective 11 cases, the total clinical effective rate was 72.50%.Compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months follow-up,the control group cured 0 cases, markedly effective 0 cases, effective 3 cases, ineffective 38 cases, the total clinical efficacy was 7.32%.And the observation group cured 5 cases, markedly effective 8 cases, effective 11 cases, ineffective 16 cases, the total clinical effective rate was 60.00%.Compared with the control group, the difference was still significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe study indicated that the treatment of acupuncture combined with shuttle moxibustion along meridians from Shuifen to Guanyuan eliminated low protein edema of tumor patients effectively, but there was no significant difference with usual acupuncture in therapeutic efficacy. Therefore, further study was required.
