Clinical Trials Of Modified Banxia Xiexin Decoction On The Treatment Of HP Associated Gastritis

Objective To summarize the academic theory and clinical experience of the mentor on treating spleen and stomach diseases.To study the clinical effects of modified Banxia Xiexin decoction(MBXD)on treating Helicobacter pylori associated gastritis(HPAG).Methods The research is divided into three parts.The first part is about summarizing the academic theory of the mentor by following the outpatients,collecting the medical records and relating the documents.The second part is about summarizing the clinical experience of the mentor on treating spleen and stomach diseases by analyzing the prescription,especially the therapeutic principle and method about HPAG.The third part is that 120 patients with HP were randomly divided into two groups.The control group was treated by quadruple therapy,and the treatment group was treated by MBXD,for 14 days.The two groups both would took the 13C urea breath test one month later.Results Acrid opening and bitter downbearing is the radical method of treating spleen and stomach diseases for the reason that the pathogenesis is mixed excessiveness and deficiency,simultaneous occurrence of cold and heat.Strengthening kidney and activiating blood circulation is applied to the obstinacy.In addition with abscission,5 8 cases in control group were treated by quadruple therapy,and 57 cases in treatment group were treated by MBXD.The total effective rate about symptom improving of treatment group(91.23%)was superior to that control group(53.45%).The two groups compared with prior treatment symptom scores showed no significant difference(P>0.05).The two groups compared with posttreatment symptom scores showed significant difference(P<0.05).The scores of each symptom after treatment,such as stomach distension,stomachache,nausea and vomiting,poor appetite,fecal abnormalities,insomnia,were decreased in two groups,and the scores in treatment group were lower than control group.The HP eradication rate in treatment and control group was 68.42%and 82.76%respectively(P>0.05).Conclusion MBXD has effective effects on the the HP eradication,and has the better effects on improving the symptoms,such as stomach distension,stomachache,nausea and vomiting,poor appetite,fecal abnormalities than quadruple therapy,and has the fewer adverse reactions.MBXD is adopted by patients easily and worth by clinical promotion.
