Objectives1.To construct the evaluation index system of nurses'perception of workplace violence climate,that is,nurses'views or cognition about the organizational policies,practices and procedures for the prevention,control and handling workplace violence incidents by the hospital managements.2.Using the scale to investigate and analyze the current situation of perceived violent climate in the nurse's workplace,so as to provide theoretical basis for formulating and improving targeted intervention measures.Methods1.Literature retrieval was conducted by using literature database,and the dimension framework of the scale of perceived violent climate in nurses'workplace was preliminarily established based on the theoretical model of safe climate and violent climate.2.The initial scale for nurses'perception of violence climate in the workplace was formed by collecting data from expert interviews,relevant literatures and scales and two rounds of Delphi expert consultation.3.At the stage of scale formation and verification,320 valid questionnaires and 322valid questionnaires were issued respectively.Discrete trend method,differentiation method,correlation coefficient method,Cronbach?s?coefficient method and factor analysis method were used for item screening and reliability and validity test.4.The data was collected from stratified random cluster sampling of 997 nurses from13 general hospitals at all levels in jingzhou by the scale,which was used to analyze the current situation of nurses'perception of violence climate in the workplace.Results1.The structural elements of nurses'perception of workplace violence climate were established,including 3 primary indicators and 7 secondary indicators.2.A scale for nurses'perception of violent climate in the workplace was formed,including 28 items in 3 dimensions.This is a scale of evaluating other people,choices were rated by Likert-5,the total score of the scale is 140.The higher the score,the higher the perceived level of violence climate in the workplace.3.The scale total Cronbach?s?coefficient is 0.984,each dimension Cronbach?s?coefficient is above 0.950.Three common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis,and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 76.009%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the three dimensions fit well with the model(?~2/df=2.991,RMR=0.044,AGFI=0.776,CFI=0.942,NFI=0.916,IFI=0.942,RMSEA=0.079).4.According to the analysis of the current situation of nurses'perception of violent climate in the workplace of general hospitals at all levels in jingzhou,the average score of the total scale of nurses'perception of violent climate in the workplace was 97.11,the average scoring rate was 69.37%.The average score rate of the dimension from high to low is 71.30%in the dimension of organization and management,70.49%in the dimension of violent incident handling,and 66.61%in the dimension of violence prevention.Conclusions1.This study established the structural elements of nurses'perception of violent climate in the workplace and formed the scale for nurses'perception of violent climate in the workplace,which has good reliability and validity.2.This study analyzed the current situation and influencing factors of nurses'perception climate in the workplace in jingzhou area,to provide a reference for the management in organizational management,violence prevention and tackleing violence incidents and so on about workplace violence against nurses.
