Research On Fu Shan’s Medical Ethics Theory

Fu Shan is a famous thinker and medicine in the late Ming and early Qing dynasty.His progressive thought influenced the whole time.His medical achievements and noble medical ethics were widely praised by the later generations.There has been a long history of research and much study on Fu Shan.At present,however,the research on Fu Shan still focuses on calligraphy,painting,poetry,literature and so on.It is very rare to study Fu Shan from dual angles of medicine and ethics.In order to get better promotion and application,it is necessary to study the ethical thoughts of Fu Shan.Thoughts derived from history.Similarly,Fu Shan’s medical ethics theory was not isolated,but had a profound historical background.Complex historical background and profound Confucianism,Taoism,Buddhism culture all had an important influence on the construction of Fu Shan’s medical ethics theory.Through the analysis of the literature and practice,we know that his medical ethics theory was mainly manifested in six aspects:love the crowd,put medical ethics first;help the world,to be the most pragmatism;study medical skill,to be refined;evil fame and wealth,free from corruption;bitterly attack level,treat people equally;oppose old ritual,care for women.It inspires generations of healers and provides useful guidance for the development of medical practice today.Forinstance: people-oriented medical attitude,medical standard based on the law,professional dedication with medicine,and the medical philosophy of love.It has important practical significance and practical value to study the medical ethics theory of Fu Shan.
