The Study On The Organization Mode Of Medical Students To Participate In Voluntary Activities Of Medical Services

Research purpose:On the basis of literature research,using the resources of school volunteer activities to conduct the research on the status of volunteer services in the medical field.Collecting data through field research,to understand willingness and influencing factors for medical students to participate in medical voluntary service activities,and then propose the mode of medical students participating in medical volunteer service activities.In addition,the Southern Blood Service Team in our university was taken as an example,to acquire the effect of medical students in participating in medical voluntary activities.Finally,it summarizes the proposed countermeasures to strengthen the participation of medical students in medical volunteer service activities.Research methods:Through the literature review method,systematically analyze the absorption,cultivation and utilization of volunteers in the medical and health industry at home and abroad,study the development status of medical students’volunteers,face the main dilemma and the existing favorable modes and measures for medical student voluntary services in a systematic way.The questionnaire method is adopted to analyze medical service satisfaction and main influencing factors of three related parties,supply and demand conditions of hospital voluntary activities,existing problems in hospital voluntary services,willingness of medical students to participate in medical voluntary services and incentive rewards,so as to study the cognitions and attitudes of the three benefit groups closely related to medical student voluntary services.Through the empirical case method,explore the organizational model and effect of medical students participating in volunteer service activities,and thus extract the recommended measures to improve the participation of medical students in volunteer service.Research results:Based on data analysis,medical works and patients have strong willingness on demands of medical voluntary services,in which 93%of patients want to acquire help from volunteers,and 84%of medical workers need help from volunteers.At the same time,medical students are willing to participate in medical voluntary activities,and 94%of medical student volunteers express that they are willing to participate in medical voluntary service activities.At present,the medical services that volunteer to participate are mainly diversified volunteer services supplemented by communication,education,guidance,and accompanying care,fundraising and blood donation.The main reasons for the difficulty of hospital volunteer service include lack of professional volunteer training(21%),professional managers(17%),effective social propaganda(17%)and systematic operation mode(16%).Main expectations reward for volunteers to participate in hospital voluntary service works include professional knowledge training:volunteers(53%),patients,(41%)medical workers(26%).Expected return as voluntary work subsidy:volunteers(12%),patients(21%)and medical workers(21%).Research achievements:Based on the understanding on willingness and influencing factors for medical students to participate in medical voluntary service activities,using the main functions of management to design and establish a model for medical students to participate in medical volunteer service activities.In addition,the“Southern Blood Service Team" of a university in South China is utilized for effect research.Medical students volunteers use professional medical knowledge and scientific investigation methods to successfully publicize blood components and mobilize blood donation to build blood pools.The medical student volunteers cooperate with medical workers and patients to participate in the successful test run and the win-win mode of infection control quality control circle.The medical student volunteers established their media and awarded with the title of the title of "Top Ten Popular Science Video" in China’s Health Science Popularization,getting wide attentions from all sectors of the society.
