Objective:This study was to treat patients with chronic fatigue syndrome of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency as the observation object. The acupuncture combined with Xiaoyao Pill was used to observe the fatigue scale score, quality of life score, clinical symptom score and clinical efficacy of chronic fatigue syndrome before and after treatment.Clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Xiaoyao Pill in the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency. Methods:The clinical cases collected in this study were from April 20,2019 to January 2019,in a total of 60 outpatients in the acupuncture and rehabilitation department of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.A random number table was used to randomly classify patients according to the criteria according to the order of treatment.Group and control group,30 patients in each group.Patients in the treatment group were treated with acupuncture combined with Xiaoyao Pill, and acupuncture specific acupoints:Ganshu(bilateral),spleen(bilateral),Zhongyu,Zusanli(bilateral),Yinlingquan(bilateral),yang Lingquan(bilateral),Sanyinjiao(bilateral),Taichong(bilateral),Shenmen(bilateral),treated 5 times a week for 4 weeks, and given Xiaoyao Pills(Shandong Xianhe Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.)),8 pills per time(equivalent to 3 grams of the original drug),2 times a day for a total of 4 weeks;patients in the control group were given oral Xiaoyao pills, medication and treatment with the treatment group. The fatigue scale score, quality of life score, clinical symptom score and clinical efficacy of chronic fatigue syndrome were observed before and after treatment.Results:(1)During the treatment,3 patients in the two groups fell off, including 2 in the treatment group and 1 in the control group. The reason for the loss in the treatment group was work mobilization, and the reason for the control group was to choose other treatment methods.(2)At the end of treatment, the total scores of somatic fatigue, mental fatigue and fatigue in the treatment group were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).Fatigue was not significantly improved before treatment. The difference was not statistically significant(t=1.01,P=0.316).The total score of mental fatigue and fatigue was significantly improved compared with that before treatment. The difference was statistically significant. The patients were better than the control group in physical fatigue(t=-3.016,P=0.0039),mental fatigue(t=-3.647,P=0.0006)and total fatigue score(t=-4.187,P=0.0001).(2)After treatment, the SF-36 scores were significantly improved compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant.Compared with the control group, the SF-36 scale score improved better than the control group(t=4.129,P=0.0001).(3)After treatment, the patients in the treatment group were compared in the main group, the main symptom score, the attention(memory),the muscle pain, the headache, the joint pain, the sleep disorder, the duration of the fatigue and the total score of the symptoms. There was significant improvement before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the comparison of sore throat and lymph node swelling and pain(P>0.05).The control group scored in the main symptom and attention(Memory loss, sleep disturbance, duration after exertion, and total symptom scores were significantly improved compared with before treatment. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but in sore throat, muscle pain, headache, lymphadenopathy, and joint pain.In comparison, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the two groups, the patients in the treatment group had the main symptom score(t=-2.382,P=0.021),attention(memory)decreased(t=-2.887,P=0.005),and muscle pain(t=-3.253,P=0.002),sleep disturbance(t=-4.733,P<0.05),duration after exertion(t=-4.034,P=0.0002)and symptom total score(t=-3.760,P=0.0004)were better than improvement In the control group, but in sore throat(t=0.635,P=0.528)lymph node swelling(t=-1.886,P=0.851),headache(t=-1.919,P=0.061)and joint pain(t=-0.579,P=0.564)There was no significant difference between the improvement and the control group.(4)The clinical total effective rate was 89.3%in the treatment group and 72.4%in the control group. The total effective rate of the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of the treatment group Better than the control group. Conclusions:In this study, acupuncture combined with Xiaoyao Pill was used to treat patients with chronic fatigue syndrome of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency. From the results of the study,it was found that acupuncture combined with Xiaoyao Pill can significantly improve the scale and quality of life of patients with chronic fatigue syndrome at the end of 4 weeks of treatment.Scoring, clinical symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome, and clinical efficacy is better than single acupuncture treatment,so acupuncture combined with Xiaoyao Pill can be applied to the clinical treatment of patients with chronic fatigue syndrome of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency.
